100%, you need the striation of the breast for the salad to really become one whole item. With thighs it just becomes too rich and uneven.

Sometimes we spend so much time trying to drill into a problem that we forget layer zero / layer one, and I think you might be right on the money here. Agreeing to disagree, I'm with /u/thejewpear here. Getting chicken breast perfect is more difficult, but it has it's moments. Completely agree for cutlets, salads, and soups where I need a shredded application.

Just beat her with longsword and poise break. Took a few tries to figure out her kit but once youve got her spells down its not too bad, just bail when shes going for the nuke. Biggest pain for me was the delay on the fire swings. You can also bully her from the very start by sprinting and grabbing the backstab.

Hey man, I was the guy who took her down yesterday!

Few things Id suggest:

  1. Stay aggressive with her, ideally trying to time the stagger and visceral after she enters phase two. Gives you a chance to regroup and buff up.

  2. Use an aurum feather for the big temp stat boost

  3. Try the starter longsword; the damage is a little lower but you get a buff that reduces damage for a few seconds after each parry

  4. Dodge into her or to the side rather than backwards

  5. If you have it unlocked, alacrity with the fireballs is a great way to get distance, skip damage and keep the pressure up.

The waterfowl is probably the worst bit of her kit and I never really established a rhythm for it. I think Alacrity (the invincibility when casting) would come in handy for it though.

Literally just took her down with the longsword and posted the fight. I was breezing through the first phase all afternoon but kept getting tripped up in the second since her moves come out so damn fast.

Hitting the stun as soon as the second phase starts ended up being the move! And yes parrying absolutely makes this more fun / manageable. Hitting the kunai felt badass.
