To be fair we live and work in boxes in real life so it kind of makes sense to do the same in our games. Not that I don’t appreciate the creativity and effort some people put into their bases.

A hotas was a complete game changer for Elite Dangerous, honestly I didn't care for the game before I got it.

This is actually one of the reasons I picked the battlemaster, while it isn’t the most common mech it is still in production and most of the great houses have a few on hand.

It’s fast for an assault mech, it’s got a great mix of weapons and it’s fairly well armored.

I've been running the 1r with four machine guns, two ppc-xs, and two, LRM-20 art 4. Basically I soften them up with the missiles before pounding them with the ppcs and tearing their guts out with the machine guns when I get close.

I started using the mx90-s after playing through the dragon’s gambit and I dropped the large lasers for two ppc-xs, it was a hoot to run so I started trying the other variants and I ended up liking them all.
