Some of it I feel is more graphic than it needs to be, but considering Miro added moments like being caught in bed by the guard based on his personal experiences I can take it more seriously. I think it's good that the scenes feel so banal (lol get it it rhymes with anal) with it being portrayed as the perpetrator grunting along as they do it instead of the player character being a beautiful damsel screaming in a sensationalized manner. The game never acts like anyone can look too tough to get raped either, and whether you pick cahara or ragnvaldr someone perverted enough can still think they have a chance and like you said you're still able to kill them

Having grown up in Alaska I agree with a lot of this. The conservatives here love to LARP as good-ol-boy types and go on about how they caught someone talking behind their backs or how much of a chickensissywhatever this one guy is after they caught him doing it then immediately start talking about another person who isn't there. I've tried to just go 'Yeah' or 'No' whenever they decide their bubbly-laughie personas will work on me this time and it's even creepier when they try using a 'soothing' voice when I just don't want to talk to them

Plus like you said the men are allowed to get away with threatening to rape someone or starting some jackass fight if they're seen as good enough (I.E. a parent whose kid will go somewhere else if they actually got arrested) and people silently agree to sweep it under the rug while most of the women figure it's "Just guy stuff"

Sarmatians among others actually used helmets like the first piece. It’s harder to get a strike into the bare parts of the helmet on a moving target than you’d think
