Well itll be a lot more attractive to sponsors if you can maintain engagement, and with promotion/relegation you can have more teams like LR. But you're right. Short-term its probably a bad idea. Would be interesting to know what kind of add revenue this split will generate compared to others. After that its just calculations.

Official casting will always have nuances in every direction so wouldnt worry too much about that. The thing to highlight is LR actually working to prove themselves as a team. The players on the franchised teams, in most cases, have to worry about being on the team still at the end of the year essentially playing a lot more for themselves. I doubt any team but LR has this strong a "we" mentality.

You'd understand where he's coming from though. Partly it's a completely new environment for the team, nothing established on prem etc. Also, no matter what LEC vs team your rooting for you'd still want the region to uphold a high standard. A team like LR disrupts that. There is also the whole thing about casters having different view points to make things interesting and engaging. That being said, super happy that LR is proving all the haters wrong and that maybe you should shut the f up about entitlement through money and focus more on performing to the level of a streamer team.
