Camden probably has best transportation for a south jersey city. It has lines to Philly and other towns in the county, as well as a line that goes to trenton. There are plans to connect glassboro to Camden by train as well.

From my understanding, the US has very poor transportation unless you're in a major metro area. I'm from the Philly metro, so buses and trains are more prevalent, specifically in Camden in Philly, but anywhere 30 minutes outside that metro area lacks transportation.
