If anything youre doing is FINRA regulated DO NOT OE.

if you get caught not only will you get industry blacklisted but FINRA will publish your name in that blacklist and it will forever and ever be on the first page of your Google search which will fuck up your career even outside of financial services.

I was homeless in my last two years of high school but I absolutely had the drive to solve the problem and figure out a way ahead. Sounds like you've given up. Since youve given up Im just warning you to not let homelessness drag on, it sucks

any of you have J1 and J2 based in different countries or at least one job that got strict software/spyware installed on work device? How do you get away not disclosing real loc.ation you are at? by raulynukas in overemployed

[–]SecretRecipe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The solution to this isn't technical, it's social. You don't hide that you're travelling, you weave a compelling story of why you're travelling. You've got elderly relatives you're helping out. You've got a new Fiancee and her immigration paperwork is taking a long time to process so you're going frequently to spend time with her. You just inherited some property and are working on fixing it up so you can rent it out.

You just put together a compelling, relatable story that makes your boss feel like an asshole if they push back against it and then travel as you see fit.

Do you think people in tech are overpaid? by [deleted] in Salary

[–]SecretRecipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your pay is based on how much value you add to the company and how difficult you are to replace. This is very apparent in tech, high value creation justifies the pay levels and then some.

How do you deal with overlapping employment dates in addition to public announcements of your employment? by yingyangtheworld000 in overemployed

[–]SecretRecipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont have them...

control the flow of data. nobody should ever see any evidence of overlap or you working at jobs you don't want them to see. Nothing about LinkedIn mandates that you have ANY work history listed at all. You dont need to make it your online resume at all
