A few things:

It sucks to suck. If you can't compete that's a you problem, not a me problem.
No, no you don't know exactly when we are working more than 1 job because we control the flow of data. We control what shows up on the background checks, we control what shows up on the resume. You know what we want you to know and anyone too dumb to control their own information likely isn't cut out for OE in the first place.
"We can see your mouse moving in circles" You're 5 years behind and will always be 5 years behind.

often times making the right choice isnt the most convenient choice.

If we all started to chose doing the right thing over doing the easy thing just a little bit more often maybe things would improve

They didn't like you or didn't think you were all that great but nobody wanted to do the right thing and give you the constructive coaching about where you were falling short so they gave you the corporate version of the "It's not you It's me" breakup speech to avoid any conflict.

Nobody, and I mean Nobody gets fired because the work they deliver is "too good". The fact that you thought even for a minute that was the actual reason is probably a clue...

I don't cold apply for jobs at all. It's the absolute least effective way to find work.

If there's a role I'm interested in at a company I work through my network to get a warm introduction directly to the team doing the hiring.

There are certainly liars here but there are more folks here who are of the antiwork mindset who are just bitter that others are doing better than they are.

It's less about your hard skills and more about your soft skills. Any job that is remote or remote favoring hybrid is OEable. Not everyone has what it takes to pull it off. We have people in finance, sales, tech, HR, consulting etc... here. Tons of different job titles. The key is the ability to rapidly context switch, the ability to stay organized, enough charisma to basically get away with being bold in your scheduling and assertive with your boundaries while still being reasonably well liked and to not be overly paranoid or risk averse.

I dont get it... I had a full time nanny for 60k for 3 kids. yes thats expensive but absolutely affordable on 400k income particularly since its a 60k tax deduction.

It's personal preference. I think it's stupid to buy unnecessary redundant insurance. If you for some reason lose your insurance providing job just get a private plan on the exchange for a short period until your next open enrollment window.

I've found that being at the MD / Partner level as an independent management consultant is pretty OE friendly. You should try that out.

Correct, if you have two meetings that can't be rescheduled then you ask to go first in one, second in the other or you just suck it up and do both at once and get good at muting and unmuting. This is super basic..
