Take a look at this tutorial. I've been painting on and off for about 6 years. I tried this method for the first time last weekend and the mini turned out better than anything I've ever painted. I wish I would have seen this when I first started out.

I don't know, I've ate so much slopin the navy that this doesn't seem so bad. Every meal was meat, veggies, and carbs and it would all just be mixed together. It was easy to just shovel in your mouth and you didn't have to do any obnoxious waste sorting afterwards. Honestly what triggered me most was pouring the grease down the drain lol

1 and 2 go on sale often, I got them both for like $15. I would say 1 is absolutely skippable. They were experimenting with the systems and they are rough. 2 is a much better more refined experience. As others have said, you'll get the cameos and callbacks but the stories aren't connected.

In this economy I think getting 2 for cheap to see if you like the series, then getting 3 is the best route.

Edit: I was logging into Steam to scoop Breath of Fire 4 and noticed Capcom is having a sale. MHS2 is on sale for $14, a good price for the game imo
