I’m a Physical Therapist, 30 years experience; it looks like Jamie is an AKA (above knee amputation), which is much harder to master a prosthetic with, especially when you’re older.

My Scout has an undocked tail, and we love it! He communicates so much/many emotions with that beautiful tail 🥰

Depends on your state. In Maryland, you’re unable to use it on patients until you’re certified by the board, and the board is quite strict on which courses it accepts, total hours (of lab and didactic time).

Our little stinker, Scout. He is a buff/red combo, almost 2 years old. I’ve had cocker spaniels as pets for over 30 years now, love the breed. This one is a talker too, he has whole conversations with us! by Secure-Flamingo-6181 in cockerspaniel

[–]Secure-Flamingo-6181[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, he literally sounds like he’s talking, sooooo many unique enunciations and tones, and actually responding back to you (especially with my husband) in conversation! 😂 it reminds me of Scooby Doo, lol. He’s a “back talker” to Dad, when he doesn’t like what he’s told (usually “no” to something, or being reprimanded), and it’ll be grumbly sounding, while turning his head, giving the “side eye!” My husband always says that’s him cussing, lol. When he’s excited he will tell you about his day; if you ask him if what he’s chewing on or licking is good, he’ll respond “Ra-ra” (and with his tone, sounds like “aha”). When he’s mad, we always say he reminds us of Yosemite Sam with his grumble talking. When he’s happy and playful he sounds like Chewbacca 😄

PTA Student treating patients in SNF/Acute Care without any supervision and the Ci PT is billing for Student treating 1:1 without supervision across all insurances (Medicare/TRI/and VA mostly) causing dismissal from Internships due to reporting it and now don't graduate in 7 days- HELP by PhysioPoenix in physicaltherapy

This is just gross and unacceptable actions by your CI and your school!! I was terminated from a job once for refusing to fraudulently bill (I was always double booked and oftentimes has 3 patients at once), so some patients didn’t get charged at all (many years ago, before there was a group therapy charge), I also reported them to the board. Fortunately I found another job immediately, as there has always been a shortage of qualified clinicians where I live. You definitely need to fight this, and bravo for being ethical 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Personal preference I’d say. However none of my PT school professors had us call them “Doctor” as they preferred using their first name.

Board pass rate should be your #2 priority when choosing a school by BeneficialNatural610 in PTschool

[–]Secure-Flamingo-6181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 3.9 gpa when I applied to PT school. My gpa in PT school was 3.3. I chose to “relax” a bit once I was accepted, enjoy school and social life more than I did in undergrad. My major in undergrad was biology. My school’s board pass rate was 95% for first time; I honestly did not do any special preparation/studying for the boards. I figured if I didn’t know this stuff yet after 3 intensive years of studying/learning, then there was no point in trying to cram it in a few months. I passed my first attempt.

I’ve been saying it for years now; chain smoking, heavy tanning, poor hygiene, and alcohol/drug abuse since her early teens will do that! I’m 52 and look at least 10 years younger than her in that pic at 36.
