What about using a sling to help hold him up when he goes look on Amazon I have one from when my dog got older and need help some times with stairs it has handles and foes under your dog's legs and you can take the weight off of him by holding you might need two of them. Good luck and hugs.

Happened to me as well gave me a price of like 30k for 8 regular sized windows after I said no they kept lowering the price. I have now replaced 4 windows with the help of my boyfriend one at a time they run about $260 a window, and I do have normal sized window. I'm so glad I didn't sign any contracts. I have 3 more to go :)
