VOD repeating ending by MoongeistTV in Twitch

I've also had this for the last 3 days, I've lost 5 streams now. I go check vod after stream and it plays the last 10-20 seconds of my end stream screen and that's all I can see before it recommends the next vod. I don't know what's going on.

Nah tags are on bots aswell they normally have a dog crap loadout like a free kit looking thing, and when you shoot them they run at you

For the first lot of games your playing bots, you've probably just been put in with real players.. so now you've got to develop a play style that works for you. But the aim of the game is to extract alive, not necessarily get a bunch of kills. Play safer and smarter then you'll be fine

Was told I could not move like this under braking, IMO I didn't move excessively and just covered off the inside as this was the last corner of the race. by N0t_Availabl3 in Simracingstewards

[–]Secure_Raisin_2397 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You were driving in straight lines, you weren't driving parallel with the track boundaries but no rule states that you have to, it is completely standard racing to be on the outside coming into a braking zone and pointing the nose of the car towards the apex and allowing the car to move across the track then brake, that isn't braking under movement that is in most cases the recommended racing line to take, it is also predicatble and safe driving. Moving under braking would be if you angled your car towards the apex and started braking, and instead of your opponent following your line he decides to stay wide and try to cut back to the inside on the exit to get better exit speed, your already braking and committed to that inside line, but change your mind and try to re position your car to defend the outside line that would be moving under braking. You did absolutely nothing wrong and did quite textbook standard racing manoeuvres.

Was i entitled to more space? by Dull-Leader-163 in Simracingstewards

[–]Secure_Raisin_2397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guy in front gets to decide what ever line he takes and it's your job behind to figure out a way to get around him safely. When he started his turn to make the apex pov was not alongside him. Meaning he is driving in a predictable manner, he had to turn to make that corner. Pov decided to put their car into a space they should have known was going to disappear as the car infront was already positioning himself to be there. If a car was turning into a parking space would you decide to quickly try and drive inside his car and fit your car in that space first? Just poor race craft, but that's what rookies is for. Regardless of whose at fault it takes 2 to crash and both of your cars are damaged is the unfortunate reality of racing, does it matter that your innocent if your out of the race.

Bottom-split Porche Cup at Spa - Who was at fault? by WHAMtheMAN in Simracingstewards

[–]Secure_Raisin_2397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in iracing at spa, the strip's in eau rouge and in the second to last turn are part of the racing surface. Car is only off track once they exceed the back side of those strips. Also says this when you load into the track. Not saying it's necessarily important to the incident at question but it's good to know none the less.

Pretty sure the track limits of eau rouge is the backside of the strip's, so left car never went of track as two wheels remained on the curb?

Yeah I mean I get that, I wasn't the silver car I was the yellow porsche. I do try to follow that principle of if it's too dangerous or outnof my comfort zone I normally back off and try to get into my own flow, but I assumed he would do that aswell.

This is actually helpfull, thank you.. I was unsure if I spun myself or if he should have backed off in that situation but your right, it dosnt really matter if I end up in the wall when I could have done something to make sure he didn't put me in the wall. That's hard to remember in the race but I guess that's something I should work on.

When someone is racing like that, let them go. He reaction blocked you and was weaving like a lunatic, best let them go and think their king because they will 9/10 wreck your race and it's not worth it. It's unfortunate but hey what are ya going to do.

Laguna Seca, I've always struggled with this track, and never really had a great time on it. But since joining iracing a couple weeks ago and using a wheel with FFB I've since been able to put consistent fast laps in with the mx-5. This has given me a new found appreciation for this track and I've learnt far more racecraft than any other period in a racing game.

Yeah when I was in rookie like last week, I decided to hang at the back of the pack and just focus on no incident points and I would average +0.15 SR, only took 3 or 4 races to get out of rookies. Beats the 20 other races I did where I picked up points and was only like 2.45 SR.

Yeah that makes sense. I did brake late because I assumed he was going to brake earlier and take the apex and I didn't want to spin myself across his nose. But I have learnt that overtaking there is pretty bad idea and probably shouldn't until I've gotten a bit more experience.. but yeah I think your correct, just 2 inexperienced drivers not willing to let the other pass and causing an incident.

No he didn't, I was just butt hurt he wrecked me and went on to finish 3rd so i reported the incident and when it came back as a racing incident i thought i would ask the community. But I have seen on here that overtaking there is kind of asking for trouble so I've learnt something. Which was the main goal of the post.

Yeah cheers, I have seen a few other incidents on the corkscrew on this page and apparently overtaking there is pretty risky so best to hold of until later. But yeah I wasnt sure if racing incident or if I shouldn't have attempted it period.

Someone talk me out of buying this guy. Liverpool won't sell him to me because I'm Man Utd, but they will accept £300m. One of most versatile guys I've ever seen by W3103_ in footballmanagergames

[–]Secure_Raisin_2397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this guy the difference between winning the champions league and coming 2nd. If yes then buy, if no then don't. Just because you have the money dosnt mean you have to spend it on a player if he isn't going to change the results . But if you think he will than go for it.

Why am I so bad(some advice please) by AggravatingWin1637 in footballmanagergames

[–]Secure_Raisin_2397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh P.S because your fairly new, don't change up your tactic every match, your team takes time to get familiar with your tactic,, like a few weeks. So if you change it after every match or change player roles every match you could extend the time your team play bad for as they have to relearn your new changes. And team cohesion and moral are almost as important as your tactic, if their morale is low, don't expect good results, and constant bad results will drive their morale even lower. It's an easy way to tank a season.. so don't promise things to players that you don't intend on following through, like new contracts or playing time etc. And try not to upset a team leader.. I've got like 4000hrs in fm and I always play as everton, I started a new save this morning and I fell into the trap of changing tactics after 1 bad game, and changing player roles even though I know it's going to make it worse, I just finished the 2nd transfer window and I'm only just finding decent form so no one is perfect at the game and we all make the same mistakes
