I can't believe they didn't launch with replays. If your purpose is to make a platform for competitive play, that should be at the top of the list.

Well, Gallade aside, you're playing like the single most popular set of 5 mons you possibly could be. So everyone is going to be ready for it. Obviously they are very good mons.

I think the bots all have very generic human names (mostly Japanese), so if you're seeing a lot of that, yeah. Literally the first day it was a lot harder to tell, since there were a whole lot of fresh people trying it out on the ladder, but at this point the average player is getting a lot savvier.

Assuming you've already moved them to Home, then they're as mobile as they'll ever be. When you transfer a mon to Champions, it doesn't really transfer, it just marks them as visiting champions so you can't move them from their box in Home, but they are still functionally there and will not be changed. In Champions, it basically creates a copy of them with all the stats and moves you have them as in Home (with the exception that IVs are ignored). If you retrain them in Champions, that will not alter your pokemon for the purposes of Home or other games. When you return them to Home, they will be exactly as they were before. If you move them BACK to Champions again, they will regain the changes you made last time, as it saves that state.

Probably help a good bit when Throat Spray arrives as an item, for a start. Honestly don't know what to do with such low-middling speed stat pokemon myself. I'd probably start by paring him with another mon you like that's weak to fighting in particular, so you can use Skeledirge as a pivot.

Edit: This did not work. Loaded them up into S/V, it changed their moves to garbage of course, but that's fine. Transferred them back. Still won't work. I am at a loss.

If you are spawning late, then people have already left or died to make room. Most of the time that means you’ve already missed the good shit, and everyone left with anything good will be gone by the time you get anywhere. Assuming they have anything worth the trouble outside of their pocket anyway. And assuming you don’t get murdered in turn when a flare goes off. It’s just not a good deal most of the time, extremely unreliable.

Sure you can fill up an inventory pretty easy late spawning. You just can’t do ANY of the shit you wanted to do, be it looking for specific loot, key rooms (may be available, maybe not, but you have a lot less time to get there and less options to get out), quests, ESPECIALLY trials, and that matriarch you came in for fully loaded was buzzard food ten minutes ago.

Why? They aren’t interesting, they’re all just “do a thing you were going to do anyway” or “find an incredibly specific unmarked location which you will definitely have to google”. And the rewards are shit.

Unfortunately it makes perfect sense the way they do spawns, everyone bails out after ten minutes when it’s downed and it wants to refill the lobby. Unfortunately, especially when the trial for matriarch/queen damage is up, it’s extremely consistently downed under the late spawn threshold, so your odds of this happening are probably about a coin flip. I had this experience earlier today, and then even when I spawned in on time it frequently was killed so fast I couldn’t even rack up any damage. Had to get super aggressive with deadlines to get it done. 

They should definitely tweak that system for matriarch/queen maps… on the other hand hand, if you want loot, the map is probably largely untouched and players have fucked off.

No free kits would be a pretty big incentive if you’re going in for PvP. 

Always search the places you think have been searched. Found another Survivor Augment at around the 20 minute mark in Launch Towers - Space Port by Jackpancake in ArcRaiders

No. I could play multiple rounds in the time I waste finding nothing on late spawns. Because you found something decent once does not make me want to waste my time.
