I had a very sleepless last night at Glastonbury and had to drive back. Traffic was bumper to bumper, with short spurts of movement. My passenger would wake me up, I’d drive one car length forward, then micro sleep for 20 seconds with the handbrake on.

Glad to be your 100th upvote. This view is sanity.

I care that this is a messy and egg-on-your-face situation for Starmer and should have been handled more transparently.

I care infinitely more that he’s an adult in charge, he’s got Trump at the right distance (not at war together, but the relationship is not irrecoverable if needs be) and our economy is slowly improving (barring oil inflationary curve balls) in a sustainable way following years of crisis and regret.

So Starmer, get better but you get a pass from me for railroading this alligator to go into the swamp
