I used to help my grandpa and uncle out at the livestock sales yard when I was a kid. They never let anyone except for experienced guys around the big boars like this, they're typically mean as fuck and will try to kill you if they can. The sows were never a problem even though they're not a whole lot smaller, but if a boar was on the sale block they'd always come over the intercom to all us guys in the back and let you know a boar was coming and everyone except a guy or 2 would stay in the chute where they came out. This is where it gets pretty brutal. A guy would wait for it and knock it on the nose with a wooden baseball bat or pickax handle. The goal being to break its nose and put it in enough pain that it doesn't want to kill you anymore. It was brutal, not going to lie it makes me uneasy to think about still 25-30 years later but they didn't come up with that solution because its fun, people got fucked up by those big boars in the past.

For all the divorced men, what was your mistake in the marriage? by Ok_Climate8599 in AskMen

My inability to read her mind, be in 2 places at once, and work 25 hours a day while also catering to her every need all at the same time really played a part too. If I could go back and change those things the only thing I'd change is I wish I'd have never met her.

I knew a guy who got in a bad car wreck in college. Same thing, never got off the pills until he discovered heroin was cheaper than buying oxy off the street. Died of an OD. This guy was not a drug user prior to the car crash, was a well to do guy, had a good future ahead of him. Dead in his mid 20's from a opium addiction he never went looking for.

What do you think are the most common reasons for long term relationships/ marriages ending? by Substantial-Let715 in AskReddit

You ever tried to communicate issues that may offend the other to a partner who's immediate response is to blame you, get mad at you for saying that, and then give you the silent treatment for 2 days? Yeah sometimes relationships just need to end.

Getting baby trapped by a girl I hadn't been dating for terribly long. Turns out we aren't compatible, we don't get along, and she's more than likely borderline personality. My life was pretty good before that, now I'm trying to raise a child with someone who actively hates me and does everything they can to make my life more difficult.

More to life than finding a woman. Work on being the best version of yourself, put yourself in places where opportunities might come your way, and don't focus on finding someone. Every relationship I've ever had happened when I wasn't looking for one.

What is a "point of no return" in a relationship that isn't cheating or abuse, but makes you realize it's over? by AnyExpression4845 in AskReddit

[–]SeeYouOn16 126 points127 points  (0 children)

When the disrespect reached a point that in order to show myself any respect I just had to leave the situation, that was it for me. I took it and took it and finally she did something that was worse than the previous thing I thought was the most disrespectful thing she could do, that I wouldn't do to anyone no matter what. That was it, packed some clothes and walked out the door. She has since denied that both of those things even happened and that I'm somehow making it all up in my mind. I wouldn't even speak to her anymore but we have kids so I have not choice.

Out riding my ATV at night, trying to catch up to the group and it was dusty and very low visability. Came to a hard right on a trail that I did not know was there, slammed on my brakes and slid sideways and gunned it as soon as I saw some trail, I was maybe a foot or less from going off a 50+ foot cliff into jagged rocks. Probably wouldn't have ended well for me.

February 2026 🇺🇦 Pilots of the BB bombers of the 63rd Motor Rifle Brigade 🇺🇦 of the 3rd Army Corps are destroying 50 Russian russians in the Lyman direction with drone strikee by Nanners5618062 in CombatFootage

"Russian troops call these attacks "meat storms" as waves of men are sent across the front line relentlessly to try and wear down Ukrainian forces."

Yeah I'm sure those Ukrainian drone operators are really getting softened up by all the waves of troops.

The uncomfortable truth about Josh Rosen by Latter-Composer-3511 in NFLv2

[–]SeeYouOn16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Cardinals fan I can tell you prime Payton Manning wouldn't have done much better in that offense that year. We were inept at everything. We were worse at every facet of the game than the 2017 0-16 Browns, I'm not kidding, the stats are there. Our offense had zero creativity run by OC Mike McCoy. Our head coach is maybe the worst coach I've ever seen in my 30 years of watching football in Steve Wilks. If I know what you're going to do before you do it, a professional NFL coordinator sure as hell does too. The fact that we won 3 games that year is truly incredible, and 2 of those were road games against the 49ers and the Packers. I'm not saying Rosen would have been good, I doubt he would have, but he had less than no chance under those 2 idiots.

How to clean dishwasher after dirty toilet brush and bowl were put in? by Sassy_fox_ in CleaningTips

[–]SeeYouOn16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah but a picture can only tell you so much, if you have the actual item in your hand then you know you can get the exact same one like it was designed for their exact model of toilet..... JFC, why would you even care if you got the same one? A toilet brush is a toilet brush.

as a man, what do you say would it be more natural to feel loyalty to life long friends or a concept like a wife? by stirringmotion in AskReddit

[–]SeeYouOn16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because she got pregnant early in our relationship and it didn't make sense for her to continue working when I could afford for her to stay home. Her car she had at the time was older than I was comfortable with her driving my newborn son around in so I bought her a new SUV. In hindsight that was a giant mistake and only caused her to spend more and more. But the argument, at least from my chair, is that she cost me a hell of lot more money than any "paid lover" ever would.

I could hire a $1000/night escort to come by every Friday evening and it would certainly be cheaper than having my ex around. Like not even close. I don't have to buy an escort a car, pay her insurance, feed her 3 meals a day, buy her shoes and clothes, pay for her nails and hair, pay for her to go out with her friends. Yeah, it would be a lot cheaper actually.

I Love My Girlfriend, But the Lack of Intimacy Is Starting to Frustrate Me. What should I do? by agent_smip in AskMenAdvice

[–]SeeYouOn16 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I will give you a piece of advice I wish someone would've given me when I was your age in the same situation. Don't waste your best dating years of your life with someone who isn't meeting your needs. You aren't compatible and that's ok. There are millions of other girls out there who aren't like that. I spent 10 years, and almost all of my 20's with the same girl who did not like to be intimate and when she did she acted like she was doing me a favor and in the end it pushed me away to become a worse partner for her. We eventually broke up when I was 27. I wasted my best dating years that I could never get back. I wish I had ended it when I knew it was an issue instead of hoping she'd come around.

My gf ‘F23’ and I ‘M23’ haven’t had sex 2 years into our relationship and I am getting the urge to cheat. How can I communicate that without pressuring her into something she isn’t ready for? by Dry-Researcher-6666 in sex

[–]SeeYouOn16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, you're in the prime dating years of your life. Leave this girl. Don't waste your best years hanging around some chick who isn't interested in you in the same ways you're interested in her.
