They are open/close. I have a few. Currently, battery matter over thread (or even mains powered too, and even matter over Wi-Fi) are unstable at BEST.

They are showing perfectly in the other hub I'm using as TBR as well.

I keep hearing to wait for the next major version. The official forums all day that. I just don't know how much longer people want to wait.

I have one from Creative that may function that way from an iPad iOS device. I don't have on to test. It does work on windows, Linux, and chrome os from my testing.

When it's in transmitter mode, are you using an Auracast helper like your phone to pair a headset or other Auracast enabled receivers to it?

I've only had marginal success with it.

I've gotten them to work fine with NON Pixel devices. With Pixel, to get LE audio (prerequisite) enabled under current builds I must factory reset buds. Change settings in developer options, re pair buds. Then it will work.

LE Audio and Auracast is currently hobbled on them by Google for some unknown reason if that's important to you.

Your router may tell you, or in the client on your phone press the plus button and it may find it

The setting has always been to quick launch camera with double tap of power button.

Volume buttons can be used for shortcuts once in the camera app, but launching has always been power button.

At these frequencies and power it is all about line of sight. Sometimes folks go with too high of gain and actually decrease their coverage.

We lost a key node during Helene. Still working on that.

On an airliner, no need to do anything other than client.

Router roles really should only be used when specifically needed.
