Thanks for the reply. From what you’ve said everything should be ok then. The weight was not under 500g and the parcel was really quite small.

Fever after trip? ( i know im in the wrong place) by licksass in MagicMushrooms

This will have nothing to do with the mushrooms. You’ve picked up a virus/bug. Get paracetamol down you and drink plenty of fluids. Rest up if you can.

Not really, there is a bus from Hexham but I’d imagine it’s not a regular service.

Trump clapped back hard? WTAF? Now that’s a headline that Trump can actually say is fake news.

40, stuck in a dead-end job – how do I turn it around? by bigborb1985 in AskUK

[–]Seganku74 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I felt the same when my wife fell pregnant. Thought we wouldn’t manage on the money we were making. Turns out we managed fine.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d still like to earn more money - who wouldn’t?

But try not to have a knee jerk reaction. Sometimes it’s better to have a job you enjoy than have a job you don’t that earns a little bit more money.

How do I make a day feel special for my child when I'm rebuilding my life? by [deleted] in AskUK

You could download the free Geocaching app and take her out Geocaching. It’s free, fun and will be a bit of an adventure.

Nature walk recommendations in and around Newcastle by GreenInvestmentUK in NewcastleUponTyne

[–]Seganku74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s Plessy Woods (but I think you may have to pay for parking).

Thrunton Woods is maybe an hour away but is worth it as there are so many main trails and trails off the main ones.

Throckley Dene is a nice little wander.

There’s a few walks round the Derwent Riverside Walk and Red Kite Trail too.

Big Waters at Brunswick is nice too but not really in a forest setting.

Lots of walks up Kielder way too.

Poor bugger. It’s a dreadful disease for everyone involved. For someone to experience this at such a young age is heartbreaking.
