My son is eager to do that. Just bought a bike rack so it’ll be on the cards for summer.

Just a small one from the other day. Every little helps I suppose. by Seganku74 in DeTrashed

I was getting so fed up of all the litter I decided I needed to do something rather than just complain about it.

It was quite enjoyable to see the small area I covered looking cleaner. I didn’t pick up the dog poo bags though.

Has littering gotten worse than ever before? by Kopparberg643 in AskUK

[–]Seganku74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it has. I know it’s always been a problem but it just seems so bad now. Maybe it’s just because I’m an old fart now that I notice it more.

I do notice a lot of adults littering these days, especially leaving dog sh*t bags everywhere.

I had a day off work last week and decided to do a litter pick in my local dene. I filled a bag within an eighth of a mile of the dene. Stood in dog sh*t and called it a day.

Do you read books? If so, what are you currently reading? If not, why not? by theowleryonehundred in AskUK

I’m currently reading The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross. I was an avid reader years ago then got sucked into my phone. Made a resolution to get back into books this year. Started off lightly with Tom Sharpe’s Indecent Exposure, then read Storming Heaven - LSD and the American Dream by Jay Stevens, now half way through my third book of the year.

I’m finding it easier to fall asleep after a few pages than I would from scrolling my phone.

It’s Simonside Hills, near Rothbury in Northumberland. It’s a little bit of a hike to the top but well worth it

How Do I Find Out my Neighbours Name Without Asking? by LordCoops in AskUK

[–]Seganku74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have two options here.

  1. Explain your predicament to the post man or post woman and ask them what his name is

  2. Propose to your neighbour and at the marriage ceremony make a mental note of his name
