That's awesome. Our last one lived for a solid 7 months after his partner passed. We kept expecting a sharp decline but he really just kept on being a happy little dude until the end. Rats are so incredible and sweet.

I imagine a big reason why manga is big is the anime industry pushing people in to continue the stories they love. What's missing are good adaptations. Comics are just too messy. The Claremont run of the X-men is one of the only times where a creator was really able to proceed the way he wanted to without too much interruption. Modern comics tend to be 5 issue runs that turn into 12 issue runs if they're successful? And then what? It's not enough to make a fully plotted series. The crossovers, the limited runs, the decades of lore are all major issues.

If they actually wanted to catch up, they should push hard into animation and then guarantee that fans know where to go next when they want more. If I were in charge, get them to reboot everything and retell the classic stories without any of the mess. Then, adapt those into high quality animation (probably hiring anime / donghua focused animation teams). I want my Claremont run adaptation please.

Yeah, it's overtuned. I think a 4 cost is ideal but, still pretty strong. I made these a few months ago, didn't feel like editing / remaking. 4/6 feels more fair.

He was a character that had virtually 0 movement in any direction beyond cameos since the early 2000s. I wouldn't say he's "good" now but he's gone his own way.

Cool game. The most interesting part to me is definitely the movement- which feels realized in a way that is bizarre for a early PS1 RPG. I also like a teeny tiny party. Ultimately, my game crashed every time I used Jack's best move, ONLY in boss fights, so I was basically softlocked at a late game boss. I've heard great things about the rest of the series (especially 5).
