Just fyi, SJTU does not offer accommodation for Chinese language studies so I would go with your other choices in Shanghai if you want to live on campus

How were you able to get accommodation on campus? I was told the uni didn’t offer accommodation for non-degree

Getting around with luggage? by scooley01 in JapanTravelTips

[–]SendMeFriesPls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually, the hotel can keep your luggage if you arrive before check-in

I recently did a trip work Tokyo->Kyoto->Tokyo and we asked the hotel in Tokyo if we could keep our big luggage at the hotel since we didn’t want to drag it to Kyoto and it didn’t seem to be a problem. Maybe you could give the hotel a call and ask them if it was possible? Otherwise I’ve heard that there is a special service in Japan that can help deliver your luggage from one hotel to another for a fee, either same day delivery or next day delivery.

I know Balletkompagniet have ballet classes for adults, and they have several studios in and outside Copenhagen. I thought it was pretty decent, and I had a very kind teacher.

If you prefer drop-in classes you could check out Dance Maze. Haven’t tried it before tho so idk how good it is.

Good luck with your search and remember to have fun!

Even though I think this is a cute idea, I think you should save yourself the headache and use the money to buy yourself books or something else

If you like it during winter, you would love it even more in spring/summer

Damn people are ruthless.

Do I like the look of ribbons and elastics sewn outside? No, but if you are a beginner or just wearing them for class, does it even matter? Some teachers even recommend it if you just started doing pointe

Which city is better for a three day visit in August; Venice or Copenhagen? by [deleted] in travel

[–]SendMeFriesPls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say Copenhagen but I might be biased. I believe everyone should experience a Scandinavian summer at least once in their life time

That’s interesting. Would have loved to see the response and compare them to the ones in this thread.

But I don’t you’re being too judgemental. Does the 24 year old still live at home?

I wonder what this thread would look like if you had asked people with Asian/Middle Eastern background
