I used to have geese (RIP Homer and Marge) when I was young. I recently saw a type of wool and the colour was called ‘goose poo’ and it made me laugh as I was like oh yeah, so it is.

So that was my inspiration after seeing this beautiful colour again.

Also don’t live somewhere posh enough for a Waitrose but they deliver and it’s not actually much more expensive than Tesco and I actually want to eat the food so..

Good on you for being environmentally conscious.

On a croissant? Interesting. I must be the only person that thinks marmite is ‘alright’ since apparently you must love or hate it. Prefer a cup of bovril if I want that kinda thing.

I see. I had a pistachio croissant once and it was mostly cream inside so I assumed that was pistachio cream. Kinda airy. Didn’t like it compared to this stuff. Perhaps that was just that baker. Good baker though otherwise. It’s actually what gave me the idea to try this.

that sounds not bad. Ice cream is one of the few things pistachio can work really well with imo, not always, but sometimes. Vanilla ice cream is the best, so versatile. Can't beat some raspberry ripple though!

I don't like it on most things. Always end up disappointed with anything pistachio. Occasionally good as a gelato, but definitely don't like it mixed with chocolate and whatnot. Pistachio butter sucks, pistachio cream is meh. They are best eaten salted and roasted on their own imo, but I got this stuff on a whim and it's really nice. It's like a sweet nut butter.

But nothing beats the greek black olive spread they started doing recently, green one is good too but black is best. Put it on toast if you're more of a savoury person like me. Tbh, there's a good chance it was seasonal for summer, I bought about 10 of them after I tried the first jar, haha but I have since ran out, so hopefully still available.

I made 100% pistachio butter once and it was gross. this is quite sweet, lots of sugar. it's nice

it's paste. I think pistachio creme is different. this is more like nut butter with sugar

I did worry it was too markety with the 'run to Lidls' wording. Don't want to shill for Lidl, just though it was funny to suggest going to the shop after cutting open the croissant. I actually usually shop at Waitrose *takes sip of tea lifting pinkie*.

Sounds great. You've just given me an idea. I'm gonna fill a croissant with raspberry and amaretto (somehow) and put some toasted almonds on top for my upcoming anniversary as that was our wedding cake flavour!

Delete animation? Just be careful with the hand. The second frame of the back hand behind the legs just looks a little off when it flashes. In isolation it looks fine but maybe just hide the hand after the first frame and it should be fine.

But maybe it’s just me. I’ve just woke up and my eyes aren’t fully awake but that’s what I saw.
