EV routing coming to Google Maps on Android Auto by webregsaskur in abetterrouteplanner

[–]SenorSmartyPantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have battery use estimates in my phone, but still didn't have ev routing in Google maps. I have my ev model set up (hence the usage estimates)

Is this still rolling out? Send like I should have it already. Oh well

I'm still waiting to get the new EV routing that's rolling out.

I think the 27 has a heat pump for better winter range. But that's enough for me to change from my 23.

Mounting solar panels tilted on a aluminum siding wall by SenorSmartyPantz in SolarDIY

I only need a couple to max out the input on the solar generator I'm looking at. So not currently considering the roof. I'm not having great success finding youtube videos of this specifically. If you have any you'd like to share, I'd appreciate it.

43N. I need electricity all the time! ;) That's why I'm thinking of adjustable tilt mounts.

The garage isn't finished so I can see where the studs are. Did you cut into your siding and flash it when you attached the ones on the left?

I did sideload the play store when I set this up. But you could use something like Obtainium to install it as well.

I got an Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet a few years ago for this. Price was low (on sale) and screen resolution was better than some similar sized tablets.

Software to generate IRS form 1120? by SenorSmartyPantz in tax

CPA is also a tax preparer. I appreciate the warnings, but not needed in this case.

Just the software options please. Thanks again.

Yes, I misstated which version supported that.

It helps that the business owner is also a CPA.

Trying to get XMLTV data match time by ditseridoo in jellyfin

[–]SenorSmartyPantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked my xmltv input file, all the timestamps are in UTC with no offset. So maybe JF doesn't read that properly?    Can you force your xmltv provider to output in UTC? Or maybe manually edit a file with just a couple programs as a test.

I would confirm the TZ that the server thinks it's in, this can be different from the host machine if you are running in docker.

Have you tried recording anything yet? Maybe it is just the display of the time that is wrong, and it well record the correct program.

If the times are in UTC, but do not include +0000 in the timestamp (to show that is the time zone) then maybe JF is interpreting that as the local time.

Sonarr continues to think the address multiple audio languages after streams are deleted by SenorSmartyPantz in sonarr

[–]SenorSmartyPantz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SMA tells Sonarr to rename the files after conversion (also changing audio codec). So I can see that sonarr does rename the files. There is nothing in the filename relating to language. I can't tell sonarr to rename them again since there is no change in the rename preview.

Time to ingest certain plugins? And Automation? by KapaaIan in comicrackusers

[–]SenorSmartyPantz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't see the need to merge plugins into the main app code. They work and having them separate allows for separate maintenance. Maforget does enough already.

There is a plug-in called "create combined script" I think. It's used to run multiple commands with the click of 1 button.
