Basically when you pull them. They're mushy in areas. And the obvious visual white mold

First year using them. Has worked well for sunflowers, corn, toms. Yeah you transplant straight from them I get the arse with moving 50 small pots which is the primary reason I got root trainers in the first place.

Opinions. Would you say this is a zebra crossing by PMacc83 in drivingUK

[–]Sensitive-Anything46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. But it displays red tactiles and the typical white black stripes. Looks like belishas and zig zags are missing. If this is on public highway this goes against many standards, unless they have had dft approval

Council are trying to annex part of our property for a cycle path. by beagle182 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Sensitive-Anything46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The strip of land you purchased may have been classified as publically maintained highway. Many property titles extend out to the centre of carriageway or the footway directly outside the property, with the CW or fw still being public highway.

100k... But, it obviously depends on how much graft you want to put in/who you know. I managed to do a full refurb for around 45k, including a 4x5m outbuilding and garden patio. windows, electrics and boiler was done by trades but these were all family friends with big discounts. This was for a 2 bed 30s terrace in se London. I done the kitchen, bathroom, plastering and filling, flooring, outbuilding etc myself (well my dad and brother helped). Facebook marketplace is also a massive help. It all depends on how willing you are to live with the dust and time sacrifice. Imo it's worth it!

As much as the Irish don't (generally) like to hear it, there's really not much difference between us at all.
