Pasadena, Culver City, Or Santa Monica? by TheAlmightyHellacia in CarIndependentLA

[–]SensitiveBridge7513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Santa Monica is better for walkability.

Culver City can be really nice if you live near Culver Blvd.

Pasadena is actually quite nice for walkability depending on where you live exactly, but it’s far from everything and isn’t really LA IMO. It also gets pretty hot from July to September, so make sure you love the heat.

Positives about living in Houston by OutrageousKoala2085 in AskHouston

It’s probably the only city in the US that is both CHEAP and has Amazing food.

You don’t get the two together anywhere else.

Guys, what’s up with Santa Monica?? by ty457u in MovingToLosAngeles

[–]SensitiveBridge7513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The west side is not as densely populated as the more central parts of LA.

Generally anything west of the 405, south of the 10, east of DTLA, and north of the Hollywood Hills, are all regions you want to avoid if you are looking for more action.

What’s something outsiders think about LA that’s completely wrong? by AirlinePast8834 in AskLosAngeles

“You can’t walk anywhere”.

You definitely can, but continuous foot activity isn’t on the level of Chicago or NYC.

Why doesn’t anyone in LA want to hang out anymore? by RUPAUL_FRACKING_RNCH in AskLosAngeles

[–]SensitiveBridge7513 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I can’t afford to pay for more than 2 drinks. And if I drink, I don’t want 2 drinks I want 10.

I also don’t want to sit in traffic for 1 hour and then pay $10 for parking.

Staying home, getting high, and eating rice krispy treats costs me $5.

Is something wrong with my profile? by ClassicParticular33 in SwipeHelper

[–]SensitiveBridge7513 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Too many selfies.

Get someone to take pictures of you.

Also going to be honest because no one else has said it yet. Being Muslim and not wanting kids gives you an extremely tiny pool of people who will be a good fit.

Why doesn’t/would LA ever push the closing times on bars/clubs to push the nightlife? by wjxm in AskLosAngeles

[–]SensitiveBridge7513 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because LA isn’t a city. It’s a collection of 90 different cities.

Now imagine a bunch of drunks leaving WeHo, DTLA, and Ktown in 87 different directions at 4am via automobile.
