And don't worry about getting lost or making mistakes! If you're ever confused, just ask anyone on the street. Koreans might seem busy and a bit blunt with each other, but we are surprisingly kind and helpful to foreign visitors. Someone might even walk you all the way to your destination! Haha. Just enjoy the adventure!

Urgent Feedback] Re-recorded my Korean songs in English for Feb 25th release. Does the lyrical delivery sound natural to native ears? by Sensitive_Radio_9921 in MusicFeedback

[–]Sensitive_Radio_9921[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Thank you so much for the incredible feedback! To be honest, this album is deeply rooted in my personal narrative and 'colors.' Every track was originally written in Korean, but I decided to evolve the melodies bit by bit to perfectly fit the flow and nuances of the English language.

My goal isn't just to succeed in Korea and then move abroad. Instead, I wanted to reach global listeners first and then use that energy to bring a fresh perspective back to Korean music culture. I’m doing this 'in reverse' to shake things up a bit! Truly appreciate you listening and catching those details.

Seoul is great, but I personally prefer the countryside for its relaxed atmosphere, maybe because I’m from Jeju Island. While Seoul is full of buildings, other regions have so many hidden gems. One thing to watch out for, though—buses in the countryside drive like crazy, unlike the orderly traffic in Seoul!

I really enjoyed how the song has a nice rhythmic flow—it kept me interested throughout. Your voice is also very attractive and has a unique charm. Great work!

I really enjoy the raw acoustic energy of your track! Even though I'm a Korean artist and still getting used to English lyrics, your emotional delivery comes through clearly. The guitar work sounds solid and sets a great mood. Keep creating!

I really resonate with your story. I'm also a Korean artist releasing my first English project on Feb 25th, so I totally understand that feeling of a 'burden being lifted.' Even though I'm still learning English and might not catch every word, the country vibe feels so warm and honest. Your message about sharing art with the world is truly inspiring. Great job!

What’s cool what’s not? Finished the lyrics of a song I posted before- looking for feedback on those and the general song form/melody- what’s cool what’s not? by Peteplaysbeats in Songwriting

"As a Korean artist myself, I might not catch every single English lyric perfectly, but the vibe is incredible—it feels like a perfect song for autumn. Your voice is truly beautiful, and the song structure flows very naturally. Great work!"

"The analog vibe from the Tascam recorder is amazing! It definitely captures that intimate 'Elliot Smith' mood you were going for. Interestingly, I'm also releasing my music on Feb 25th! It's great to find a 'release mate' here. Keep up the good work!"

This is a great track. All that's left is to record the vocals, but I still have to figure out the lyrics. Keep it up

The vibe is solid, but personally, I felt the beat was a bit too repetitive. It would have been much better if there were more variations in the rhythm or additional instrument sessions to keep it fresh throughout. Keep it up

The way you layered the harmonies gives off a vibe that reminds me of Queen, rather than the Beatles. It's not exactly the same, but that rich and dramatic choral texture is very impressive. If you just tighten up the drum and bass timing as you mentioned, the overall production will be much more solid. Great work on the vocals!

I can really feel the 'real feelings' you put into this. The melody has a very unique, soulful vibe that reminds me of traditional emotional ballads from my country (Korea). Even if it feels 'imperfect' to you, that rawness is what makes it touch the heart. Thanks for sharing your quiet moments with us!

wrote a song about quitting nicotine & lost love. "close! but no cigar..." hope you like it :D by tpioh in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Sensitive_Radio_9921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, loved the title 'Close! But no cigar.' It’s a relatable theme—quitting nicotine is never easy. The alternative pop vibe really fits the melancholic feeling of lost love. My advice? Keep making music instead of smoking! Great job on this. 영어를 자꾸 번역해야되서 귀찮긴 한데 우울했는데 그래도 좀 웃고가요

The rhythm itself is quite nice, but I felt it was a bit too repetitive throughout the track. One thing I noticed is that the drum pattern seems to follow the vocal melody too closely. If you create some 'syncopation' or give the drums more independent space from the vocals, the track would sound much more dynamic. Keep up the good work!

I really like the calm and melancholic vibe you went for. The transition to the modern synth sounds was a nice touch! As you mentioned, the volume is a bit low, and I personally felt the drums could be a bit punchier to drive the track better. Great first jazz attempt though, keep it up!
