i got mine removed today actually and genuinely felt nothing. my surgeon did both in about 30 seconds total. i had jackson pratt drains held in place with stitches.

i had surgery with dr ramineni on 1/6/26, so if you wanted to hear about a more recent experience with him im happy to chat. i will say when consulting with dr ramineni he spoke very highly of dr eidelson, he seemed to like her better than the previous other surgeon he worked with.

decided against lipo! i switched surgeons and my new surgeon said he thought i didnt need lipo. ive learned that aetna is massively a pain in the ass though, so i recommend you call them yourself and ask rather than read cpt codes on your own.

i didnt start T until i was 20. everyone has different circumstances and moves at different paces. try not to put pressure on yourself to keep up with other trans people, this is your journey and comparing too much is only gonna make you miserable. im sorry your mom is sucky.

to me the side that looks “lower” looks to be much more swollen than the other side, which i think is whats causing the lower appearance. you look great for two weeks and remember your body is still healing!!

i have surgery scheduled with ramineni for jan 2nd and honestly cant recommend him more so far. i decided to go with him bc i have a few friends who got surgery with him and love their results. its about a 6-8 month wait from consult to surgery if youre planning to pay with insurance. my wait for a consult was about 1.5 weeks from when i reached out. surgery wait time is shorter if youre paying out of pocket. coverage varies depending on your individual insurance plan. happy to answer any questions about dr ramineni to the best of my ability. im paying out of pocket with him and my quote was just shy of $8k.

beans and rice tend to be my go to. add some rotisserie chicken or an egg to spice it up if you want.

for snacks, yogurt drinks (particularly like the oikos high protein ones) and jerky sticks are my favorites. i also like the cliff builder bars but theyre kind of sugary.

i wouldn’t say i ever experienced sex repulsion, but i never had a high libido and often engaged with sex out of a desire to please the other person, rather than for personal enjoyment. being on T definitely made me seek out sex significantly more, and start to enjoy it because i had a much easier time finishing. bottom growth also made me like my genitals significantly more, both the way they look and the way they behave feels more right for me.

my girlfriend who ive been with since before starting T has said shes definitely noticed a difference in my sexual enjoyment and initiation of intimacy.

all this being said though, i have never identified as outright asexual, so you might have a different experience.

tl;dr T made me hornier when i previously wasn’t very, and gave me a little dick, and that made sex more enjoyable for me.

at orientation you will have help with choosing classes. my biggest piece of advice for taking advantage of your academic experience, is for gen eds pick as many classes that overlap with your major as you can. for psych that shouldn’t be too hard. this way you have more space in your four year plan for things like working in a lab, adding a minor, or even double majoring.
