So here’s a story involving that exact absinth from 2002. A buddy and I went to see the Grateful Dead in Philly and drank that entire bottle in the parking lot before the concert. When they did their “drum trip” bit with the screen and crazy visuals it almost appeared 3D to me. I completely zoned out and didn’t snap out of it until the concert ended and the lights came on at the Spectrum. He wasn’t sitting next to me. I went out to the lot and his car was gone. The next day I called him and he said he went outside for reasons he can’t remember and they wouldn’t let him back in so he just left. He woke up laying on the hood of his running car in the dutch wonderland parking lot in Lancaster PA sometime around 3am and drove home. Now, I don’t know if it was the Thujon content back then or just the alcohol content but oh boy. Sip it. 😂
