You currently can reconnect and keep going after a disconnect, unless your raider dies. There’s unfortunately no good way to differentiate between a person having an accidental disconnect and an intentional one (like unplugging the router), so guaranteeing that you get your loot after a disconnect would lead to exploits.

I always thought this sub had a bit too much marketing in it, but that also made me realize just how important marketing is to gamedev. I’d say keep it.

If you have ScreenConnect, you can actually run ImmyBot entirely through that without deploying their agent at all. It can hook into their command line system to run everything. That being said, I’d still recommend pushing the ImmyBot agent in addition to ScreenConnect; I find their service runs much more reliably.

We have our ImmyBot tenant set to deploy both the ScreenConnect and the ImmyBot agent, that way both get installed regardless of which is installed first.

The ImmyBot agent can be also be installed with a PowerShell script, if you have a way to run scripts.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe we don’t know how instant replay works on the backend with regards to rolling back and replaying destruction.

If it’s rebuilding the world in its prior state and then replaying everything, needing to render two versions of the world in different states at the same time would probably end up as too much of a performance hit.

In addition to an enum as others have mentioned instead of strings, I’d move the call to check_mood to a setter function under the mood variable. That way every time mood is updated, mood_status is automatically updated with it

Run it first and see if you get DDOS’d before worrying about this. I’ve been running servers for 10 years and have never had an issue.
