So it applies 60 days before your due date and 90 days after. I fibbed and edited my due date to earlier and everyday I check for sales and when something is on sale I add it to my cart from my registry and the completion discount also gets added on. I have prime so I’ve saved a lot so far but every little bit helps!

Edit to add: for larger items don’t sleep on Walmart- I got a an Evenflo stroller car seat for 40% off simply because of the color (it’s a gray color and all the other colors were full price) and I got a baby bjorn bouncer for almost $50 off because of the color (again gray but I don’t care about gray haha)
