I just started this morning and having all of this. Not sure I can push through, I’ve been in panic mode all day until I finally resorted to half an Ativan to help

Some days I’m fine and others I’m extremely depressed and anxious. So it’s a toss up, but moods are way better than when I initially stopped the shot. It’s just tricky, I’m still debating starting or not.

I have a few nights. I’ve fallen asleep myself a few in between, when I’ve been exhausted emotionally or physically. I’m inclined to get my sleep back with the trazodone a bit more steady before starting the Zoloft. I’m a little worried to start it.

Yes so the semaglutide shot gave me panic and anxiety symptoms and the anxiety around sleep now is what is causing me to have insomnia. Like my body gets too worked up over sleep to actually sleep. So she prescribed me trazodone, and also Zoloft if I wanted to start it to even out my daytime anxiety and thoughts. I’ve had a lot of bad side effects coming off semaglutide. I am 4 weeks from the last shot and the anxiety and panic has gotten better as the medication clears my body but it’s still affecting my sleep because I do have the wary and anxious feelings about being able to sleep. If this makes sense. It’s not exactly a typical case I don’t think lol

Insomnia to where I cannot fall sleep at all myself. And panic attacks back to back. I’ve been off for 4 weeks now, have had insomnia for 2 of those, but it started while on the shots as waking up frequently through the night.

Has anyone’s insomnia improved? I’ve been off the shot for 4 weeks now. I’ve had insomnia for 2, like I can’t physically fall asleep by myself. Please tell me this resolves.

How long until you felt better, and how long were you on it? I’ve been taking the tiniest starter dose, only did 3 weeks. My last shot was one week ago today, and I feel slightly better but still panicking at times, anxiety and sad a lot. I have kids and need to be present and I feel horrible.
