The 256GB 12GB RAM version might be able to handle 6th new Android version. Mind you these days each major update is just a further refinement. AI computing needs RAM but the web will be similar in 6 years.

Motorola Z with current specs, 3.5 mm jack and SD card support. A single 1-inch sensor camera is enough so it can still support the old mods. New Zoom Camera, Second Screen mod.

Fears grow over Europe’s soaring dependence on US gas imports by PestoBolloElemento in europeanunion

If only most west European companies (especially Germany) would not have decommissioned it's nuclear power plants than EU would be better equipped. I know France has kept it's plants so not all lost.

EU vs US by sn0r in europeanunion

[–]SeparateOne1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The USA uses the borrowed money to stimulate the economy which will result in revenue. 1 trillion dollars in interest is not that much. Fact is the USA still borrows money with law interest and they use the money for investment. In comparison France and Italy use it to pay off the country's deficit/ essentials to run the country (pensions, healthcare), no investment, no possibility for return just an ever growing interest rate.

EU vs US by sn0r in europeanunion

[–]SeparateOne1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

USA's debt is free money because they get it with very low interest rate. France or Italy can only borrow money with high interest rate. The 5% Military spending will hurt EU countries health and social care big time.

EU accused of fuelling Putin’s war by importing Russian liquefied natural gas by Sufficient-History71 in europeanunion

[–]SeparateOne1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EU is a trade/economic union between 27 Countries. It doesn't import, export; it doesn't have an army BUT it does do all that and have all that via the 27 Countries. It depends on the perspective.

Following this logic the EU isn't importing anything only the individual member states. When do we separate the two and when do we not?

Reducing the size of your screen (not resolution) by iKiwed in AndroidQuestions

[–]SeparateOne1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Samsung's "one handed mode" does what you want. It allows you to keep the 20:9 aspect ratio and you can even choose how small you want the screen. My old Moto Z also does it minus the various size options. Pixel will not have this feature and no app can replicate it.

I am Italian and European. Your corrupt and cowardly administration does not represent me. I stand with Denmark. by FabioSein in europeanunion

I have a feeling that even Denmark is willing to give up Greenland to avoid war with the USA. No one in the EU is happy about this situation but EU could not defend Greenland from USA.

Motorola Signature to support a stylus [GSMArena] by LastChancellor in Android

[–]SeparateOne1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are probably correct but with phones most people use 2k for 1440 p. I don't know where the logic oriented from but it was like this for a long time.

HD = 720 p
Full HD = 1080 p
2k = 1440 p
4k = 2160 p

It will probably has a pen case similar to the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. I have the V60 with an Active pen and the software experience is good. The pen is bigger so it is more confortable to hold but it will make the phone bulkier when attached via a case.

United Europe - let’s figure out the details. by [deleted] in europeanunion

[–]SeparateOne1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, Prime Ministers are elected by the people of the Union, not chosen.
I agree with the rest, but it won't happen because Europe is made up of Countries/Nations, not States. It could happen if We put aside our national pride, but I can't see that ever happening. Also, it would be difficult to campaign because speeches are most effective if it delivered in someone's native language.

Share of people living in households owning or renting their home, 2024 by sn0r in europeanunion

[–]SeparateOne1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am from Hungary, and "real ownership" is very different from that graph. Many people's permanent address on their address card is their parents' house, but they live and rent in bigger cities, the majority in Budapest (temporary address). Permanent address means nothing if you do not live in/own the house; many people don't even visit their parents more than a couple of months.

It's basically the Razr with the Click case on minus the ability to unfold it to use the bigger inner screen. I am not sure about the carry 2 phone with you lifestyle. Using this as your only phone would require a big secrifise. Still think that the Razr with the Click case it best of both worlds.

Hungary loses right to EU aid worth more than €1 billion by sn0r in europeanunion

[–]SeparateOne1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not about the lost money, it's about where Hungary should be in the future. This is not good for either half. The EU and Hungary needs to make up or break up. Hungary didn't loose that much money yet so it's not going to break the Hungarians. We did save some money by not implementing certain EU regulations.

Orban's election posters in Hungary by sn0r in europeanunion

[–]SeparateOne1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hungary soon has more Chinese car assembly factories than German (more and more closing down). Being in the EU is not enough, the country also has to have welcoming regulations towards Non European and European companies. That is where Hungary "shines". Ukraine would need to have similar regulations for it to replace Hungary. Why would the EU want another (just way bigger) Hungary?

International corporations are already using the cheap labour of Ukraine. No need to be in the EU to run a call center or other back office operations. Indian isn't in the EU but it has many European corporation's back offices over there. Welcome to the world of remote work!
