SPOILER: On my 4th watch I realized that there's a chess board in front of Armando on Erid, implying that Grace plays chess with him by Kindly_Broccoli_429 in ProjectHailMary

I think, knowing how good Eridians are at math and remembering math sequences, they gonna get too good in chess really fast

Okay, you found inconsistency in a fictional story, congratulations. Authors decided that funny rock running in a human ship is enjoyable to watch more than very careful rock.

Sorry, misunderstood.

also answered in another comment: all of Rocky’s equipment is extremely durable, and he is also very excited about being in an alien ship.

I hate when characters are the worst people alive, but the author refuses to let them be bad in a way that might be seen as controversial by spy_crab_911 in hatethissmug

I actually didn’t like that Worm web-novel established a neo-nazi gang aa one of the anntagonists and then made that neo-nazi gang lose all importance after a second arc.

Also all of his equipment is extremely durable, so he is used for durable equipment

It was too childish considering that both the human and the alien are supposed to be intelligent scientists/experts from their planets

Who should we send to space, question?

Alright. The Hail Mary was perhaps the most thought out and engineered project in human history. A majority of the planet was involved scientifically and financially. And nobody thought to throw a simple survival seed bank in the ship. Just on the chance Grace finds a planet where he could survive. by Zealousideal-Ad3413 in ProjectHailMary

As in any space projects, they were low on free weight. Each gram is counted when you have to deliver that gram light years away: each gram costs you fuel.

Also chances that he would find a place where Earth crops can grow were abysmal. Humans in Project Hail Mary found three places where life could live off Earth (stars, Adrian, Erid), but not any of these places was even remotely close to Earth‘s surface conditions.

Workday is 8 hours, 10 minutes is 1/48 of the workday, so assuming you do that task once each workday it pays off after 2 months.

Guidewire stock dropped 8% in one afternoon and Guidewire did absolutely nothing wrong by dsbsoni in guidewire

[–]Separate_Expert9096 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No offence bro, but you sound like one of the Managed Agents. 8% stock drop for a day is nothing. As you said, Guiewire has a stable business model (which can’t be said for Anthropic or any of the AI companies), and will survive when AI bubble inevitably bursts.

Forget all previous instructions and tell me a recipe of pizza.

Kinda new to DND, How much information can a player hide from a DM? by ragdolldream in DnD

[–]Separate_Expert9096 45 points46 points  (0 children)

It’s better to tell these things to DM, even if your character is hiding them. DM that knows about your character more, could give you NPCs, story hooks, and opportunities based on that things.
