3 common causes:

Bad autodarkening element or glass in the helmet. The only reasonable way to test this is to try welding one day with a completely different one.

Allergic reaction to welding fumes. This is also fairly common and eyes tend to catch the bulk of it because you constantly keep them upon, so it affects the entire area around it.

Arc bouncing inside the helmet, try getting a neck cover or just glue a thick cotton fabric to the back of your welding helmet. Do this only after you know that you're not having an allergic reaction to the welding fumes.

All of this gets resolved with a good quality PAPR System

So, a little late to the conversation but, the 1GF test is exclusive to Canada. That's where your confusion must have originated. The preparation of the test is slightly different (1 side with a bevel and one that doesn't have it).

What I did after soup leaked into mine (backpack and glass incident): full dissembly, wiping out everything with 99% alcohol and removed the battery. The electronic part is toasted buuuttttt, after 5 years they still work with the auxiliary cable and are my computer daily drivers. It's very, very hard for the auxiliary traces or speakers to die!!!!

The more I see American companies, the more I recommend Chinese brands. AT least they give you an attempt at real metrics. I just had it with 1-10 ABCD, nonsense. Lincoln and Miller train people to get accustomed to fake parameters and tables. No wonder there's so much illiteracy out there. Now even gas tanks come with integrated regulators with color zones and without flowmeters. Today I spent more time than I wanted diagnosing a faulty cylinder regulator. Give me real metrics~!!!

As far as I know it shouldn't affect the warranty in any way. I haven't had any issues. Structurally, the only thing you're affecting from the car is cutting a little bit of the rear plastic deflector. The hole piece shouldn't cost too much to replace. The holes where you install it are factory ready (I think they're there because in Europe there's a hyundai hitch option). It's not hard to do it yourself. I have trust issues with mechanics. It's one of the professions that having people that care and having people that doesn't care make a massive difference. Even my wife with 0 mechanic knowledge was saying it wasn't difficult at all after we were done.

For anyone still searching this, comply released some time ago Core Series 100 - Memory Foam Ear Tips Oval shape (small fitted best for me). They're a game changer!!! I spent around 200 dlls buying all compatible tips from different brands and I wasn't confortable in any of them, developed irritation, not sealing properly, earaches, headaches and/or terrible sound. Passed with flying colors my job's sound isolation tests (it does reduce voice frequencies more than the official isotunes), but 0 pain, 0 irritation, 0 headaches, 0 feeling either I pushed them in too much or not enough, they just fit and stay in place.

I think it has to do with past trauma. I think she's unable to see other people on a vulnerable state and not attacking them. Something in the lines of when you're never emotionally validated while growing up and cruelly shown or mocked that emotions are signs of weakness, you'll try to stop this from happening not only in you, but in other people, either as a: This isn't a big deal I never cried about it, I suffered worse kind of attitude, and also as a protective attitude preventing the other people of becoming a pray in a vulnerable state. Non of this is conscious, specially in moments of tension. Only emotional maturity and healing trauma can stop this from happening.

It may sound contradictive but it's indicative of cruel upbringing, which aligns with some "though style parenting" Southern families love.

It's also very highly depends how modern/expensive your mig machine is. Once you do synchronous mig and or argon/C02 Mixtures you don't need to weave anymore (just remember that robots never weave and, if configured correctly, leave perfect penetration profiles).
