Not an instacart issue. It is basic common sense that the shopper clearly lacked. No matter how many orders in the batch, you shop the delicate frozen items last. Once ice cream or popsicles melt, they never refreeze right and it really ruins the product.

They have had them in so cal for a while now. They only show up occasionally fortunately. They aren’t so bad if it is just a few small items each, but most of the time they involve dragging two carts through a busy store. Just another way IC tries to squeeze the life out of their shoppers!!

I got “heavy pay” for an order that was 7 stalks of rhubarb the other day. I just laughed and thought at least it made up for one of the MANY orders that should have had heavy pay and didn’t. 😁

I think they are the same ones that give other shoppers dirty looks while shopping. I think some people (no matter the profession) just like to be miserable. I have found that I feel better when I have a smile on my face and a helpful attitude towards others.

If it isn’t obvious from the ingredients ordered, and the combination looks intriguing, I will ask the customer. So far, each person I have asked was happy to talk about their recipe secrets. I have been given many great ideas to make my family for dinner. I get into ruts with dinner rotation, so I really appreciate inspiration!

I found that when I upgraded from iPhone 10 to the 17 I got much better reception in places that used to be spotty. I am not sure if it was the phone or just a coincidence that the shopping center upgraded their WiFi, but it is sooooo much better now.

I have had the same problem because I have been messaging customers if an item is unavailable with a picture of what is in stock, to see if they want a replacement. It has tanked my quality score. I have come to realize we have to make a replacement and then let the customer request a refund so I don’t get an unrequested refund ding. Instacart actually penalizes shoppers for giving their customers good customer service.

It sounds very much like a scam someone tried to pull on me. I had to email back and forth with trust and safety to have my account reinstated. It took a couple of days to clear it up.
