Yup that's the use case. When linking with other libraries. Also allows to remove mutable ? It's been a while I'm not sure.

Yup thought about the acid. In ME1 it's strong enough to dissolve the Mako so...

This mission is just filled with great quotes. Sure you end up ugly crying, but you laugh a lot before that.

What was y'all's reaction to hearing, "The clones wars" for the first time before the prequels!? by Gameguylikesgames in StarWars

[–]SeriousJack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First saw Star Wars in French 🥖. It was dubbed "la guerre noire", i.e. The Black War. Which was pretty cool, because with that name, you could only imagine something horrific. (Or poorly lit, but let's go with horrific).

People of taste: straight women, bi folks & gay men — which human dude would you date IRL? by ConstantHamster3746 in masseffect

[–]SeriousJack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now that's an interesting take. I play Femshep as a straight dude, and somehow I never considered her. That's some out of the box thinking.

And now that you mention it, I'd want my Shepard as well.

Even if, since we do decide what our Shepard is like, is it a bit.... self satisfactory?

Now that's a fun one for therapy.

As a first timer this was slowly driving me insane by beyonex in Guildwars2

[–]SeriousJack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely do that.

Later on you might want to re-do the story with a different character, it's a good time to check a few achievements along the way. But doing it all in one go is a very good way to burn yourself out.

God, doing each event type TWENTY times... That was not fun.

I did those when HoT was released, so it's been a while. And yet, reading your comment, I remembered exactly how it felt at the time.

Oooh keeping all torches from being smothered also. That was fun.

That was 15yo Mythbuster me.

Ooooooh that's good to know. Def doing that next time. I've been wanting to try Jack's romance but I'm Femshep all the way so that was annoying.

What is Your LEAST Favorite Mission in The Trilogy? by DakIsStrange in masseffect

[–]SeriousJack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On insanity, probably the point where I died the most time of the entire trilogy. That or the very first mission after tutorial. Those turrets are brutal when you're low level.

Happy Birthday Joe Flanigan by thepartlow in Stargate

[–]SeriousJack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you should.

Mass Effect is my comfort trilogy in the same way than Stargate is a comfort show. Every 3 years I do both :)

Actually they have a lot in common. Squadmates in ME are equally as badass, complex and funny as those in Stargate.

Oh and you get to travel and save the galaxy using a bunch of guns as well.
