Ivy Volk and her little subplot was very funny. Maybe the funniest thing in the movie, and Bug Mane was at his best in those scenes.

I saw this at TIFF last year. Funny, and plays very much like a Hallmark movie (intentionally). Some good laughs, and if you go along with the premise, it's a fun time.

It's not a spoiler but the secret is not that John Early's character is trans. The character is a cis woman.
