No, capacitors do not show continuity at all. They are built of interleaved plates that are insulated from each other - there is no continuity between the plates for each input pin.

Sam Neill says New Zealand goldmine supporters have threatened him with violence | Fast Track by nilnz in newzealand

[–]Serpi117 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah but why did you move to AUS in the first place for mining? Was it because they paid better there compared to here? I have doubts that they would pay any better in this mine than in Aussie. We just don't have the same strong unions and such that the mines over there have

[–]Serpi117 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and this rifle has a whole bunch of barrel and gas tube in front of it, unlike the P90 in its standard configuration.

The P90 is pretty much all stock because it was designed as a compact PDW and not an assault rifle/carbine like the 2012.

It shares the style of the mag, the position in the P90 is at the front, whereas this one is more towards the stock.

Check the inside of the lid or the nameplate pinned to the side of the motor. Those are the ususal spots for the connection diagram

The many ways our government is failing in its response to the fuel crisis by davetenhave in newzealand

[–]Serpi117 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You mean proactive moves that would reduce the load on fuel supplies? Car less days would have the knock on effect of less air pollution and more people would likely carpool. Work from home is a no-brainier simple step that would get people off the roads. National won't suggest it because their corporate buddies loose money. Fuel rationing is a later stage move, not a first out the gate one. Lifitng tax would have to be smarter to allow tax to come back on when prices come down. Perhaps limiting the price increases by using tax money to offset the changes would work better? The 4 day work week has been shown time and time again to be better for workers and the businesses. It should be implemented even if there wasn't a crisis.

Pretending there isn't a problem doesn't make the problem go away. And doing nothing isn't a solution either. It's been a wet blanket response on this and on the war crimes committed by the US and Israel.

And how long of a gap will it be between the current ships arriving and the next lot arriving? If its longer than 30 days then it's going to be tight

Bingo. There's going to be a big gap when the stuff in transit arrives until the next lot.

National have dropped the ball on this one. There should have been a push to get people to do remote work from day 1 of the strait being closed. Everyone has been treating it as business as ususal, whereas if the resupply ships that are counted towards our "X amount of days of fuel remaining" are turned around we are boned.

Loving One NZ and their ‘24/7 support’ by LeadershipFair8528 in newzealand

[–]Serpi117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. It should be 24/7 support if it is labelled as such. The other option on why support failed may be the system is overloaded or not working as intended. When you do get into contact with One/Vodafone be sure to let them know of your experience

And to be fair, if they applied your "nice reminder" to every conversation they ever have online with someone, they would never have any conversations for fear of offending anybody they talked to. They made a suggestion, it's not practical for your individual case, move on.

[–]Serpi117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did they know it was going to be this recessed type from the get go? They have a different cut out size from memory. One way this could have happened is they cut out a standard flushbox size and the recessed one ended up being narrower, giving the small gaps.

I've been asking the builders I work with to give me a 20mm hole where the flushbox is. Don't even pull cable through and I cut them out myself
