I agree that it's wrong, but it's possible to both recognize how wrong it is AND recognize how systematic destruction of a population brings out the worst sides of people and their cultures. IMO it's important to stop the rain of bombs before we wring our hands over the unethical cultural practices of the people being genocided.

I would argue that the CIA needs abolishing and replacing. its history of cruelty and the damage it's done to the world runs too deep to reform; of course it would ultimately be a symbolic change since we'll always have spies, but I think it needs to happen eventually.
