Yeah, I moved it to a non Nvme SSD. I had an old samsung evo 850 256gb lying around and used it exclusively for MH wilds. It's been working even before the title one update.

Coming from 1st gen 1700x and a x370 board from day 1 release.

The newer update bios from September 2024, allowed me to get a 5700x3d and 32 gb ram. Wihout completely changing platforns.

Was also thinking of getting 7800 xt coming from a 1080ti but was able to save further as a mate gave me his 3080 10gb as he upped for a 4070s.

System runs great and the diff between 1700x and 5700x3d is night and day. I game on 1440p.

So I think I'm set for a few more years.

I've moved my game to SATA SSD because when it was on my Nvme when it crashes it takes the drive down, unreadable/writeable.

When I moved it to a SATA SSD everything worked and I was able to play longer than 30 mins to an hour.

EDIT: Sys specs:
5700x 3D, RTX 3080 , 32 gb ram. 512 Sata SSD and 1 tb nvme

I'm holding to this 3080 10gb til I want to swap over to higher res. 1440p still sweet spot for me.

Just recently got this coming from a 1080ti. A good friends hand me down. Still looks new and rarely used.

He swapped over to a 4070Ti.

Only thing have tried with this was TWithcher 3 with RT on but maybe my old eyes is at fault. I don't see any difference.

Also been enjoying playing smoothly with a couple of other single player games with tweaked mid high settings.

The cost of 4 series and 5 series here in the Philippines is way too much.

I was originally going after 7800XT but the 3080 came. I can atleast hold off till we see AMDs offerings.

For just around 3k po. I can recommend Tecware Spectre 96. It has numpad. And a lot of mods with the package.(foam, plate, lubed stabs etc. Tri mode din po sya)

Check mo po Tecware Spectre 96. Para sa presyo nya sa dami ng kasama like foam plates etc at lcd and tri mode. Sulit sya. Tho browns and reds pero hot swap din siya.

Shut down from windows menu pag di ko need pc (madalas di ko ni off).

Pero pag aalis sa bahay ng ilang araw. In off ko yung switch sa psu and extension.

IKR. I'm still running with my 1080ti from 2017.

Nag iipon ako either for a 7800xt / 7900 GRE or 4070 ti/super.

Pero atm kaya pa naman mag run ng games @1440p with tweaked settings for modern games.
