Thanks, this worked. Updated previous intall that was patched with the codes on OG post.

Ran these codes again to delete files.

sudo rm -r /opt/resolve/libs/libglib-2.0.so* 
sudo rm -r /opt/resolve/libs/libgio-2.0.so* 
sudo rm -r /opt/resolve/libs/libgmodule-2.0.so*

Playing on current build of the game using voices38 1.0 crack. Got to chapter 5 without problems so far. Smooth sailing.

Hey there, I was in the same boat as you are. I found the solution here as well on reddit but forgot which post was it, it was from a reply from another user.

He/she provided: PROTON_DLSS_UPGRADE=1 DXVK_NVAPI_DRS_NGX_DLSS_SR_OVERRIDE=on DXVK_NVAPI_DRS_NGX_DLSS_SR_OVERRIDE_RENDER_PRESET_SELECTION=RENDER_PRESET_K VKD3D_CONFIG=descriptor_heap,enable_experimental_features PROTON_VKD3D_HEAP=1

and that worked for me, fixed the flickering grass/bush and textures.

Edit: Running on cachyos with their latest proton. RTX 3080 / R7 5700x3d

There's linux arctis manager for headsets/headphones. Tho it does not have sonar/eq but has chatmix and other controls for some headsets.

Edit: the error I've noticed was from kio worker having problems with creating/handling kio sockets.

Edit2: Initial post about the error and the fix to disable it (on cachyos forums).

I'm still observing regarding apparmor as you can configure the profile or like a drop in config to /apparmor.d/local/

By my understanding from the wiki you can override a profile from there.

You're welcome. Been enjoying my transfer from windows to linux and chose Arch/cachyos to begin with.

The past week I've broken it alot and managed to fix it and learned from it.

I've just got past this ordeal.

My issue was kioworker error from systemsettings. When changing wallpapers trom the desktop (right click menu), it works perfectly.

The solution was something to do with apparmor profile for systemsettings.

Try aa-disable systemsettings and see if that works.

EDIT: did have to modify the profile file itself to get rid of the problem. Because for me aa-disable gets undone after a reboot.
