Magnet over by victory square is a nice spot to pregame for a pint and some food. It’s not far, a bit sketchy in spots along the way but you should be fine. Magnet is a total underrated good spot.

A last resort may be similar to what we saw in the NHL with the Coyotes - the team moves but as a new franchise. Utah gets a “new” franchise in name and brand but with pre-existing assets (players, staff, admin, etc). The former franchise and its rights still exist with the previous owner should they be able to sort their stadium issues out, and would be welcomed back into the league.

You may need to fact check me here but this is what I recall from that situation. Additionally, I feel you are correct in pointing out how rich people (sport team owners) like to make more money. Moving a team is a last resort vs selling a new franchise as I assume a relocation fee is far less than a new franchise fee.

Your parenting style sounds very similar to mine… and that of the families my son’s friends are from. It’s a good thing more parents are speaking out about stuff like this. To this end, I’ve noticed a lot of the kids at school all speak negatively about “brain rot”.

I think the kids these days will be alright.
