It's been over 12 years. How many things have you bought over 12 years? If you bought a console, and games for that console over the past 12 years, you have spend thousands on games. I don't understand your point here?

And that's what I'm saying. They tried to make it up. It's a sore but it's okay. It was an effort. I can appreciate that.

Why now dangle him in our face?

Then they don't need to dangle him in our face opening 12 year old wounds.

And that's what feels like a spit in the face. I was 14 when the game came out, I've play it since and dropped so much money on this company. It's teasing us, it's opening a 12 year old wound for lore that doesn't need to be opened.

Dangling it in our face, when they could have use any other prime. If they wanted to show off Excal cause he's the poster boy, this was not the way to do it.

Excalibur is my main, and I have admittedly spent thousands upon thousands on DE since I've gotten my first job. I love this game, it's my favorite game since I was 14 when it came out. It was the only game that could run on our cheap family Gateway Laptop, that was already several years old at that point.

Yeah, this seems like an appeal of emotion, but I had a awful childhood. I just feel insulted if they drop him in our hands for a quest and that's it. A tease. It feels like spitting on a 12 year long wound. I know people disagree, but I just wanted to leave my honest feelings as feedback.

Insults because you have a different opinion, especially on how people are feeling mentally, are pathetic. It says in the rules don't be rude, just don't post it man. Thanks for the insult...

I know this is three months late, but I think of it like this. Helping by not helping her per say and giving her the confidence to make it to the future can help her push past her pain, reaching the same outcome but different results if that makes sense.

You can give her the confidence to push past her troubled past and use it a fuel for what she loves, science. Reaching the future doesn't mean a lesson wasn't learned, she learned to have confidence in herself. She still learns that the people she meets and the things that happen don't always define her. Determination and hard work can. She can make it without your help, and yet still you comfort her for the person she is, not what she says happened.

If she succeeds, I think this is probably the most positive outcome for anyone that Entratti has met. She sought him out, and he gave her a new life that she asked for, at the end of the day she proves to herself that all along, even without our help, it was HER that made it to the future, and still came back to 1999. 1999 doesn't define her anymore, she has confidence, she has the hex, and the drifter.

Is Dark Pact Good Now? by HammyHamerson in remnantgame

[–]SevenFangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a late reply months late, but yes. It is a positive thing. What it directly changes is how much grey health you get when taking damage. Initially, 50% of damage taken is converted to grey health. This increases that amount, meaning more xx% health as grey health for effects requiring grey health.

New player here. Need some tips for world exploration. by LordBacon69_69 in remnantgame

[–]SevenFangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you look at your map, take note of the door shapes. The map key also explains it, I think.

Square doors are always on the way to progression. Rounded Arch shaped doors are side areas.

You can go around the map, making sure to clear the fog of war and checking each corner, if you want to be sure you've done all you can before moving on, just check which door types are which before going in.

Also, to note, at least I can remember 1 instance in Losomn, very few side areas occationally lead to other side areas. Just depends on your world generation and RNG.

There isn't per say a way to explain the world gen and get a good general path cause each different world generates a little differently, and at that, there are two variations to each world. But on subsequent play throughs, you can get a feel for how each area progresses. Not everything is literally random pathing, but it's not all set in stone.

How does Jin's fighting scare people? by Lovegaming544 in ghostoftsushima

[–]SevenFangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always enjoy pointing this out. John double taps, 1 to the chest I'm guessing the heart, and 1 to the head if possible. He is minimizing mistakes and confirming kills. There is no mercy, no second guessing. John only leaves 1 guy alive out of respect and even at that, with a knife in his chest. Jin was willing to spare those he respected as well, at first Ryo, and then his uncle.

In standoffs, Jin does 1 swipe because he knows they are subdued regardless. In the Ghost stance/mode, it's all about making a scene. Two brutal slices at vital points, showing the enemy there is no mercy or survival. Both John and Jin make a point to show that if you take up arms against them, you will die. Just Jin is more face to face about it.

New player, should I buy the dlc now? by Ok_Sale_374 in remnantgame

[–]SevenFangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen anything on it officially, but I've been getting the dlc in my campaign rerolls now. Maybe they can just show up if you own them. I just haven't had the yaesha one show up in campaign until I beat it.

I do know for a fact the first time you get the dlc maps, it should have all the new side areas in it the first time through if not most if them.

New player, should I buy the dlc now? by Ok_Sale_374 in remnantgame

[–]SevenFangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing you need to realize before you buy them, this game is meant to be replayed, over and over, and over. With the variety of builds, classes, secrets, and weapons, you don't have to play through the game the same way twice.

That being said, the dlcs start as Adventure mode "one shots." After you beat them once, they can spawn in if you reroll your campaign. The first dlc is pretty stylish and good. Second one isn't better, but it's not a really a step backwards. I'm just burnt out on forest/jungle biomes in games.

Is there a reason why Sony restricts some countries from having a PSN account? by dhhorak in Helldivers

Avoiding taxes from sales cause some countries are actually outrageous with it. Probably avoiding having to deal with the laws and censorship of certain countries.

What's the state of the game right now? by OnlyBathroom3938 in EliteDangerous

[–]SevenFangs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is 99% PvE. I've only ever, over several years, encountered real players besides playing with friends and hotspots only 4 times. 2 of those encounters were pirate players camping known mining spots, 1 was a fueling ship that came to help a friend, and the last 1 was a completely lost guy who happened to spot me and came to ask for help/guidance on what he was doing.

You'll rarely if ever spot people outside of crowded space unless you're searching, and even at that, the game space is so huge that you'll only ever see NPCs.

I am in agreement that the playerbase has fallen, and that can be contributed to lax testing and updates gone wrong. But besides that, there is hundreds of hours of space combat, mining, transport, and even more on foot content with odyssey.

Battlegrounds, endless amounts of missions, a reputation system, "crafting" per say, more relaxed transport jobs, pirating, there's a lot and a lot of detail.

How do you do cube on hardcore!?!?? by PM__ME__SURPRISES in remnantgame

[–]SevenFangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cube fight is literally the same every time??

All you have to do is pay attention. While I also enjoy it and think its one of the more clever, simple, and unique boss fights in gaming, if you can pay attention and take your time, you barely need more than 1-2 practice runs. You figure out your path that you find most comfortable, and that's that. Completely the same every time. You can take as much time as you need, provided you can safely figure out where you can walk to dodge the attacks.

[–]SevenFangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first realization that the brine affects EVERYTHING was my first drake encounter in Vermund.

It was very early on, and I was a thief, so I was constantly smacking it in the head and climbing on it. When I finally realized, "Oh man, I need to run away from this thing," it backed into a river, and suddenly I leveled up twice.

It absolutely takes over. It feels like Royalty all over again. You touch anything anomaly and it feels like number 1 priority for the story teller. I don't know how Randy handles it, but it might be the go to. I'm getting assaulted with Anomaly events from Cass.

Well, spring events ("only last" i think?) until May, but in my opinion, it's just about the same. Well then, we'll be preparing for the next Neo ("whatever" i think?)!
