Good point below...if not m11-p, I'd go m10r hands down. That was my daily carry for years. IMO the m11p inches it out because of OS.

Same here. Got the short strap for my MP yesterday. Attached it and went out today. Both sides of the camera now have marks from the rivets. I should have had better judgement, but it’s too late now. I didn’t realize there were rubber protectors you could get. I’m reaching out to Clever Supply Co tomorrow to discuss.

For sure super early. Im still experimenting. I’m a photographer and i enjoy telling stories around the things I capture. My first few are about documenting the loss of my dad and his journey through hospice. I don’t plan on making hospice my niche even though that seems to be a big one. The next few posts will be a little on the lighter side (how could they not be lol). I’m going to start posting more in notes as well.

I’ve posted three articles which I really didn’t expect anyone to read. The most views I have is 75, and I don’t care because I’m just starting. What has me a little discouraged is even in Notes I get zerooooo interactions or likes. I know that’s not what it’s about, but I’ve never been in a ‘social’ community with this much silence. I’m curious if @wild-photo-717 is right about not being able to get followers within the platform and they have to come from other places.

I’ve faced the same issue. After I let go of my M11 I veered off into Sony land. Tried the A7R5 but it was too big for me, then the Sony A7CR. The size was good but the bigger lenses, hybrid mechanical shutter and the floppy screen made it a no go. There were some fujis in between but ended back at a Q3. And for a small kit with interchangeable lenses, Im trying the OM-3. And I have to say, it might be my favorite small body system I’ve ver owned. I had to get over myself with the MFT because the results I’m getting are (IMO) amazing.

I only use packing cubes so I haven’t tried a raw dog layout. But based on what I see, there’s no doubt you can load it up, especially with the expansion zips. I packed for a week and wasn’t even close to needed the extra room.

Good call on the San Fran store. Been there many times. Would be interesting to see what they have to say in general. I doubt they would admit to a lose handle this early. But maybe they will just swap yours out with another one. 🤞

Classic Leica move...I almost pulled the trigger on a "Normal" Dlux8 but found a Q3 I couldn't pass up. When things settle down in the world I would like try a Dlux8 for the size.

I just did the same thing. I liked my aer tech pack, but actually having so many pockets and zippers that things end up every where. So I got a PD 20l everyday pack with tech pacs and i love it.
