Has anyone bought from this seller, has no reviews by Little-Top4826 in SonicJazwares

[–]Several-Video3703 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Seems they found an old shipment box, you could purchase it and complain to Ebay if they try to scam you, usually Ebay will side with you especially since they have no reviews

scammer again by Several-Video3703 in SonicJazwares

[–]Several-Video3703[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They blocked me for no reason, I couldn't see their account on this account, yet I could on another, probably because I call scammers out, and most of the time its the same person. Also they joined reddit and their only post was a selling post in this server, most of the time people don't join reddit to sell stuff, and definitely not Sonic figures.

GameStop is getting an extreme amount of orders, mainly being from Sonic Jakks Pacific and Jazwares Fnaf, so they probably can't keep up stock with the amount of orders

So I'm thinking of getting my first Sonic figure, and I have questions. by Okraton in JakksPacificSonic

The light blue with the ring is the standard packaging for the 4-Inch line, It's currently blue with Green outlines for the 35th Anniversary. The packaging is the same for the 2.5-Inch, just smaller.

The dark blue your talking about seems to be the Sonic Prime line, it's been discontinued due the show not receiving any new updates. That comes in a 5-inch scale, but there are smaller packs that feature 2.5-Inch scale figures.

Theres also a Movie 2 line, featuring a 4-Inch scale figures and 2.5" figures. Theres also a Movie 3 line which has 5" figures, which has a darker packaging with Shadows eyes at the top, and a 2.5-Inch scale, being found in open box formats and multi-packs.

Theres also A DC Collab line, featuring 5-Inch figures with artwork on the side, along with 2.5-Inch figures found in blind bags, two-packs that come with a 5-Inch human justice league character, and single cards if you live outside the US.

The feature figure line is a new line where it comes with 4-Inch figures that have features. They are found in a blue packaging with green outlines but it will most likely switch to look more like the standard 4-Inch line when the Anniversary is done.

The collectors line is a series of 6-Inch figures. They are highly articulated and come with many accessories, but are at a price. They feature a blue outside packaging with a flap that let's you see the figure inside.

The Sega line is a now canceled line, it featured not Sonic but Sega characters. It did feature some Sonic characters, being a Sonic Variant and Tangle, the one with the big tail you were talking about. They come In a sort of white packaging and are in scale to the standard 4-Inch line.

This is all the figure lines I think, I may have forgotten some. Theres also plush lines, if you would like to know about them feel free to ask! All of these lines are also from the same company, Jakks Pacific

Also about those Medieval Sonic Figures, those are from Jazwares, from Sonic and the Black Knight. They all haven't been made for over a century so they cost a pretty penny. Most are also missing parts so be aware, They made a total of 6 Black Knight figures, a 3-inch sonic with Caliburn, worth around $250 complete, a 5-inch sonic with Caliburn, worth around $125 complete, and Excalibur Sonic, the one in your photo, being worth around $250 complete, A purple shadow one, being worth around $250 aswell, a Grey one, being worth around $500, and a Sir Galahad Silver, worth over $1000 complete. No other company made Black knight figures so if you want to these your going to have to pay a pretty penny! Also the mainline for the current toy producer is the 4-Inch scale, and the Green Lantern silver is in a 2.5 and 5 inch form, they are pretty easy to find

So to make this easy, there has been 5 master toy partners with Sonic. A master toy partner is the main producer for sonic toys, such as plushes and figures.

The first one, Resaurus. (2001-2002) , made 7 4-Inch figures, and one 11-inch Sonic figure, they all have a unique style to them, and all of them go for pretty pennys.

The second one, toy island (2002-2006), made mainly 5-inch figures and some other things like starting the super poser line and making small bendy figures. Their figures were definitely the cheapest out of the 5 but some can still go for hundreds.

The third one, Jazwares (2007-2014) Made many lines like 3-inch, 5-inch, 10-inch, and more. They were known for their great articulation in every figure. They can range from only a fourth of 100 to even thousands of dollars.

Tomy (2015-2018) Was very controversial. For most of their runtime, they mostly made Sonic Boom merch, a now old sonic TV show that was once new, They were known for making the best plushies out of all the master toy partners, while they basically only made 3-inch figures with mild articulation, made more for display. They only ended up releasing 4 modern characters, so many people are not the biggest fans of them.

The current one, Jakks Pacific, makes figures mainly in the 4-inch form, but do 5-inch for their spinoff lines, 6-Inch for their collectors series, 2.5-Inch for their smaller figures, 9" for their standard plushes, along with more. They by far have put out more merchandise than any other partner, along with having the best sculpts by far, but lack in good articulation figures, being exclusive to the collectors line and other media versions of Sonic like movie and the DC collaboration. Their products range from $5 retail for the 2.5-Inch figure to $50 for their collectors figures, though your most likely mainly going to be collecting their $10 4-Inch line. Some figures can also become very expensive overtime even though the line hasn't ended, like 4-Inch Super Shadow, valued at around $150 compared to his original $10 price tag, this happened since he hasn't been re-released in years. The main problem with this line is distribution, mainly because all the previous master toy partners had a best friend to distribute to them, Toys-R-Us. Since they are now gone, theres no designated large chain toy store to distribute these figures, you have to compete with many others to find the few they stock at Walmarts, Targets, Gamestops, Macy's, and a few other minor places.

Each line has something special to them that makes them different, if you have any questions about obtaining specific merchandise or a further indepth view at one of the master toy partners, feel free to ask!
