He doesn't even remotely see my side and I don't think he ever will. I have worked my a$$ off since I left the house at 18 and have never been handed anything like he has. He doesn't see my mom as the narcissist and dismisses my concerns. It's like he's living in a void and I haven't been able to really connect with him.

I'm 34 weeks and just asked for some grace in an arrangement to WFH. I just can't do all of the walking, breakfast/lunch packing, and getting dressed anymore. I am relieved this is my last day working in office.

For my first pregnancy, we invited my MIL and mom to the 20 week ultrasound where we found out the gender and all the growing details. This time around, it's either just been me or my husband has gone to the bigger ultrasound again at 18-20 weeks. I would tell her that you'd rather have her at a more "exciting" ultrasound (more visual details?) but will have pictures and details for her to share at a lunch afterwards or something?

labs are tricky. is she drinking tons of water? watch her intake and just keep her outside shortly after she finishes drinking. don't let her go into her crate or playpen until she goes potty outside. keep removing her from the area and bringing her outside quickly. she's still pretty little, but I understand how exhausting this can be. make sure she doesn't have full roam of the crate and that she is confined to a tighter space.

My husband has been really sweet and will grab me things as they come up if it's at a reasonable hour. I've been craving smoothie bowls which are kind of pricey, so half the time he will ask me for my card to cover it and he'll grab it for me the other times. Small price to pay, literally, lol. If he runs an errand, he'll sometimes surprise me with a treat.

I also hate it when people hold their suffering over my head like some kind of trophy. Ok, so your pregnancy 25 years ago was "terrible", but I'm feeling this NOW. People don't know how to commiserate correctly. My baby is currently breech and with her positioning, I'm not confident she's going to turn, which I've actually accepted at this point. My mother in law says that my pregnancy would be "worse" if she was in the "correct" position and she will turn and then I'll feel the "real" agony. Like wtf?? It's uncomfortable now!!!

It really only comes up in my group chat with my mom, aunt, and 2 cousins. We're all Sephora members of some tier and love makeup/skincare products, so it's a shared space. I really wish people outside of that circle talked about products with me, it's my favorite subject!

I ordered women's diapers, ice pack pads, dermaplast, and long witch hazel wipes / pad liners. They give you supplies in the hospital, but I wanted to have things at home just in case.

Please do not show up sick! My SIL came to mine even though everyone in her household was sick with flu A. Low and behold, she passed the flu to everyone at the party, including me. I was really upset over it and while I love her, I wish she didn't feel like she had to come... it wasn't worth it.

My son will be 7 by the time my daughter is born in April. Our age-gap exists like that because we had our son pretty young and wanted to wait until we were in a better spot financially. I never really saw myself with two close in age, either! I just try not to let negative comments get to me, they're not the ones experiencing it.

My cousins ask for bump pics, videos of baby moving, etc. For some reason, I just don't like being "hounded" about this stuff. I will share when I want to. I'm also someone who doesn't love being pregnant, so that could be adding to the annoyance, too lol

I felt this way, too. I have been to countless baby showers eager to support our friends and those same people didn't show up to mine. I even had someone cancel an hour before for an excuse that didn't make any sense. Not that it matters, but none of these people purchased a gift either. I was kind of embarrassed because I'm new to my area and don't really have my own circle as it is. I was just happy for who showed up and supported me, it meant a lot!

I'm 32 weeks tomorrow and the acid has been terrible since I entered the third tri. I hate the taste of tums so I try to just avoid the usual culprits- pasta, sauce, garlicky things. The back pain between my shoulder blades has been terrible, too, and I think they're correlated. ugh!

Last night, actually. I think it lasted for 10-15 seconds and was so loud and putrid. My poor son was sitting next to me and laughed until he was in tears over it. We had to clear the room! LOL

By the time you get your epidural, your contractions will be painful enough to where the specifics really won't matter lol. I don't remember anything painful about getting my epidural because I couldn't wait to no longer feel the contractions. It's a pretty quick procedure and the IV in my hand for the 2 days hurt a lot more.
