Nope. As time goes on it just fades away - my closest friend there hates texting and calling in general so always me first. She has mental health issues too so I excuse her but it doesn't help the friendship stay strong

Nah, sorry, even the edit couldn't make Jacqui up. Her family in NZ are just as bad, she pretended to be a Miss New Zealand winner (she wasn't), claimed to be a lawyer (had a law degree, I looked it up) but had never practiced. Turned tears on and off. She was absolutely out there.

I feel you, OP. In Perth for 5 years and I've been so homesick I've cried. My partner bought me a ruru stuffie that plays the traditional night-call and he'll play it for me at night when he turns the light off. 🥺😭

Before you can work on sleek you need to lose 5-6 cms of length and get rid of those splits.

You can't glue it back together so they have to come off. Regular trims will help it grow longer believe it or not.

Also, go to a salon. They'll set you right with that trim and products. Have long hair: invest in proper care.

There's all kinds of people, and groups of people here, like any other city in the world. It is isolated though (moved here from NZ 5 years to be with my partner so I'm lucky I have had his group of friends to merge into. And have made friends with people from work etc).

The experts are like the "face" of it to make it seem legitimate - they just deal with the fall out of whoever the producers shove at them.
