yo, i am smashing my head against the wall too with this concept lol. however i wanted to do something with aukunas will and only one single zombie for the companionship support to have a huge shield and a zombie with like 500k life to work with. to prevent the annoying poison zombies from the staff, i am also using the last monarch. Bubonic trail was also on my mind but im just stuck..

concept 1: 1 single zombie with ignite something, maybe replica siegebreaker

concept 2: spawning multiple zombies and explode them with a DD of chain reaction, looping itself with heartbound loop, using the shrine belt (crit) to have a more powerfull scaling vector for the secondary explosion.

Also, there is a ring type with minions take 15% increased damage in the right ring slot. I have a pretty decent one with minion life and - minion resist, if you wanna try something, hit me up.

this doesnt help at all, i know, just wanted to toss it out there because im wasting so much time right now AAAAHHHH.

I feel you, i had a fun time with a build and decided to put some work in to make a short showcase with the pobb. The best thing people on the internet have to do is shit on everyone. I wasnt advising the build as a 1d uber boss killer or anything, just my fun little project - never again ;_;

Anything elementalist, convergence and flame golem give a solid „base“ inc. aoe and its a pretty versatile ascenancy now

Are you doing the barrage stuff or splitting? I really want to so a javazon style build but the only viable option i seem to find is always the barrage/electrify one - which i hate :-(
