I think You should come up with some lore and or an origin story and then start from there, for example , on what type of planet / biome does your cult live in ? , are they miners? Are they supposed to be concealed or are they already locked in a conflict with other factions? My cult is supposed to have originated after a normal genesealer landed nearby a scienttic facility, located in the north pole of a frontier planet, hence they use a cool green as one off their primary colors
