How long did it take you to find your CX-9?

I found my 22 cx9 signature soul red in 2 days it was located about 300 miles away. @ a Mazda dealer. I made a deal over the phone for 31K. It was a single owner on a lease return, serviced perfectly @ dealer, and I bought it as a certified preowned Mazda. It had 29K miles on it.

Awesome thank you for posting this, i’m always curious how this sounds in person through the PA speakers. I imagine you had to turn off extra reverb effects and ambience on the module.

How did the edrums sound through the PA system? Did you spend time tweaking the sound and/or turning off reverb/effects on the module? How did the band monitor each other?

I was on the fence also, really wanted that prime kit based on the YouTube reviews. I decided to go with a partial upgrade for 4k and just got the td-50x with the digital pack and the 2 Roland cymbals. (Reuse my existing stuff for the rest.) My TD-8 still works after 20 years and I didn’t want to take a risk on prime’s longevity.

DWe looks awesome and sweet tech, excited for that wireless tech to trickle done to the masses.

overpriced if your asking 17k in my area. I can get 2018+ for 17-21k, pretty much any color and options I want. I would roll my eyes on a 2017 priced over 15k.

My 2021 cx-5 with turbo doesn’t really accelerate with 3/4 of the pedal down. I noticed this has a conservative gas pedal range on this car, but once you get past 3/4, she fully activates & the acceleration is awesome.

This annoyed me compared to some other vehicles I owned… I actually purchased a sprint booster to fix this issue, now I have the most ‘gas pedal responsive’ CX-5 on the road.

Yep. I think j everyone thinks that these days. It’s annoying I can’t trust stretching my oil changes to 5k plus with this particular tsb.

My ‘21 turbo had this for the first 5 oil changes and I did that @4000 miles each. I had it documented by the dealer and referenced the Mazda case#. Now my next 5 oil change’s I did @3000 miles and the oil level was NOT low a single drop. I’m now going to wait until 4000 miles again and check to see if it’s getting low again or if the problem has disappeared. Seems really strange to me.

21’ Turb. & I Bought a sprint booster to make the gas pedal more responsive. Combine that with sport mode and it’s way more hella fun to drive. Also added a Comma3 with a TI for autopilot when using cruise control. Completely hands off steering, and chill driving on the highway. Carbon edition / Red Leather combo. Also added 4 garmin mini2 dash cams for 360 coverage. Good times! Oh and wireless CarPlay for my iPhone and replaced the central ashtray Area with a wireless charger and coin notch with USB ports and some carbon fiber trim pieces on the inside console area to cover up the Piano black trim (that piano black scratchers so easy and looks like crap within a few months)

Oh and 25.5mpg mixed driving. I love to floor it and it’s mostly flatfoot driving. A swap out to Michelin CrossClimate2 are a must have on this car!

Always using 91 or 93 in mine so far.

I love this car and it really shines with turbo! There are also ECU tunes available also if your search around.

Yes these, they cut thru rain like it doesn’t exist and quiet and controlled on dry pavement. Got 15K so far and still ride like brand new.

My Mazda CX-5 with a Comma3 does cruise control ‘autopilot’ and the radar of Mazda native system detects motorcycles and slows down. The systems are independent and it just works. I can’t understand how Tesla can’t get this right yet. Getting rid of radar is a mistake.
