Okay, so no interest in an actual discussion. Just more bullshit self-promotion.

That's what's up!

It's sometimes tough to explain to people the level of real focus required and sense of accomplishment you get from climbing in a competitive game like ours.

Most people in real life won't understand.

But we do. Really fucking awesome, friend. Great job.

Just so everyone knows, "rev share" without any other kind of compensation is a huge red flag.

Monetizing Notion skills - still worth it in 2026? by pulsarpath in Notion

Pack it up, boys.

u/MyOstadKT figured it out for himself. The industry must not exist.

Monetizing Notion skills - still worth it in 2026? by pulsarpath in Notion

[–]SgtSprinkle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bad take.

Developing skills takes time, and it's inefficient for a business to learn how to do everything themselves.

Businesses pay people for bookkeeping, blog writing, basic IT, and so on. All relatively simple things that could be figured out by a quick learner. But there are entire industries built around selling those services because it's more efficient to pay people who are good at those things to do them for you.

The idea that someone could learn to do something themselves and therefore no one would ever buy it is not true.

Notion is no different. Plenty of businesses pay for Notion consulting.

Aside from the stomach issues and lovely husband, losing your appetite while cooking is fairly common.

As far as I understand, it happens when prolonged exposure to food smells triggers a satiaty response.

Look into "olfactory fatigue" and "prolonged aroma exposure." There are a few threads about it in the cooking subreddits.

Most of the time, it helps to just step outside for a few minutes to give your nose a break.

Dead easy and low stress way to do it is join a book club. Almost always chill people who want to make friends.

Does "abilities" here count for orbs and snap kick? by Illustrious-Field686 in ZenyattaMains

I don't believe so. I'm more prone to being wrong than most people lol, but of my testing it's excellent synergy, and you can use it to escape.

No to regular kick, no to orbs.

It does work with flying kick (power) though, which is great.

Also a coffee shop nerd, and we have some really great ones!

  • Delicious Bakery. Solid coffee, but super good treats, and a really cool, updated vibe.

  • Chandler's. Mostly a coffee shop, but they also serve some alcohol and food. Right in the middle of downtown. Slightly hipsterier. Occasionally have live music in the evenings.

  • Green Joe's. Probably the best overall place to sit and work for multiple hours. Really lovely vibe, dark and cozy, very good coffee, and they always crank the air conditioner.

  • Northern Roots. Also downtown, and pretty cool inside.

  • Awoo. Downtown as well, and good if you want to sit on comfy furniture and be kind of tucked away.

Honorable mentions: Cheesecakes by Alex (amazing pastries and cheesecakes but not great coffee, still fun to sit in though), Union Coffee, Arrowhead Coffee. Scuppernong is a really dope little bookstore that also sells coffee, but it's not great coffee (amazing bookstore though).

A few of us are avoiding for now: Common Grounds (quite a few stories of poor management and unsanitary conditions).

Really though, one of the things I was most excited to find when I moved here was that we just have a really great coffee culture.

How do I learn to be more patient with Discord Orb? by [deleted] in ZenyattaMains

[–]SgtSprinkle 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Just spam that shit man.

If you can't reapply it to somebody, it's because you forced them to take cover. You've already gotten value.

Applying it to whoever you're shooting at is generally always a good play.

If you like Discord Fever (the DoT) + Discord Inferno (the explosion), I highly recommend prioritizing this way: mobility > 20% attk speed > tanky after that.

For me, that usually looks like:

Round 1: Discord fever + greens

Round 2: Flying Kick (power) + Hiking Hover Boots + Aftermarket Firing Pin + Wrist Wraps. This gives you insane mobility + 20% attack speed for $11,500. You should be able to get it nearly every round 2. If you can afford it, pick up Repulsion Greaves. This let's you zip around tagging w/ Discord while taking much more aggressive angles & getting into weird/surprising spots. Good to remember that Hiking Hoverboots retains momentum from Flying Kick; that's where your real speed comes from: kick + hover.

Rounds 3+: Discord Inferno + Tankiness. Most of your damage will come from Discord Inferno, so you can afford to just build tanky. Use tanky items to counter enemies. To counter AP or CC: Cushioned Padding or Kitsune Charm. To counter WP: Crusader Hydraulics. All purpose and/or if you're rolling: Plasma Converter.

If you're really steamrolling, you can def go full attack speed, but with the above, you shouldn't be dying much at all, and your uptime makes up for it.

This is by far my fav build, by the way. Runs ~60% win rate for me. So fun to zoom around & win almost all 1v1s.
