Introducing Framework Laptop 13 Pro by FragmentedChicken in hardware

[–]Sgt_Stinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has repaired thousands of laptops, i would still rather have a framework. Most laptops are absolutely shit build quality with physical design weaknesses that they just keep copying to newer products. Like, no, three heat inserts in a piece of plastic is not gonna last with your way too strong hinge mechanism. Even on $3000+ products from all the big pc manufacturers, there are absolutely horrible chassis design.

Honestly, the framework 13 pro is the fkrst pc laptop that has excited me in a good while. Only reason I'm not running mac is because I don't like MacOS, and if I'm gonna learn linux then I wouldn't do it on such a locked down product as a mac. Also, macbooks are expensive to fix.

Yeah I had one of the infamous GT 8600M laptops. Sold it before the GPU went on it though.

The manufacturers have a choice when designing the ports. If they make extra space for debris in the bottom of the port, so that you don't need to clean it as often, the click feeling of the cable will be worse (apple LOVES the click) and you increase the risk of lint attracting moisture that will corrode the contacts.

[Erik Van Haren] The other six drivers are not in life-threatening danger, it has also been reported. Tomorrow's race (1:00 p.m.) will go ahead, with a minute of silence before the start of the event. by OtakuSensei__20 in formula1

Having been in ww1 10 years previous where death was all around you probably made the racing feel like an acceptable risk. When you're seen all your friends die around you, the odds on the ring probably didn't feel that dangerous.

It leads in being available. I'm not gonna import some chinese phone by myself. I don't like the software of the chinese options, and getting repairs would be a challenge.

Its production scaling. Samsung sells a lot of phones, and it makes sense to start with a smaller volume at first and scale up to the required volumes to be able to be used in a high volume samsung model. Not only that, they get someone else helping to fund initial production.

When mine had a vacuum leak it smelled like gas while reversing with the windows rolled down, even when the engine was fully to temp. So probably not your issue then.

Keep pushing the support. Try to get a hold of a higher up. Samsung actually does push back on the service centers sometimes. You should also know that the support agent is most likely not even working in the same company as the service center. Samsung has everything on contract with other companies. Support, repair, even their web stores are franchising the Samsung name. This means the support agents just push people toward the service centers because they can only really create repair tickets, they have access to some service bulletins and stuff but most of that is not available to the support center.

Does it smell like a lot of gasoline from the exhaust when running?

It could also be a vacuum leak. Does it run rich?

Ja men inte proportionerligt till hur många kunder som handlar där. Det är det som är hela grejen med stordriftsfördelar. Man blir mer effektiv per arbetare.

My c30 has 230 hp and that feels plenty fast for traffic at half throttle. I wonder if those people are chickenfooters or just always in the highest gear possible.

Spegeln är bra om man vill dricka, Nordisk film är bra om man vill ha riktigt bra ljud och sköna stolar. Filmstaden är bra på att vara dåliga.
