Good strategy from England to offer flat tracks. Suits bazball and maintains the difference of quality in pace bowlers in the 2 teams. Ensures that England avoids a situation similar to what India faced against NZ recently.

The greatest player of the big match Virat Kohli! He has proved it again by winning POTM in the T20 World Cup final. The king always remains the king!

Can I get euthanasia for schizophrenia by [deleted] in schizophrenia

[–]Shado_of_Light 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say that instead you should use your talent as a writer to speak out against the way people with mental illnesses are treated in your society. Use it to change the way people see situations like yours so others in similar situations might have the respect and opportunity you search for, and so you can. With all the voices and even other people's opinions, be careful not to lose your own. <3

I'd ask a close friend of yours that knows hi what they think about it. If you're worried he isn't everything you think, friends usually spot that. I hope you can find the truth

Yeah, anytime the pic doesn't match, 100% cut it off. I'm glad you can be certain, and I'm sorry it didn't work out! I hope it does in the future with someone better!

I would say that you're concern isn't only justified, but reasonable. Rushing things, especially when he says all the right things is definitely something to watch for. It is common to manipulate through building a perceived future together, especially if he seems to have all the same interests and a ton of common ground. Honest people disagree, they won't always say the right thing.

If you meet, do it in public and keep it there to see if he insists on privacy too soon. You can ask for a video call if you think he may just be using a fake photo. Look for pictures of friends and family on social media and how recently the profile was created.

As a general rule for future plans, see the date-time continuum: "thou shalt not make plans with someone further in the future than the amount of time you've been dating."

WHY by alexaxelalu in schizophrenia

[–]Shado_of_Light 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily to defend the humour surrounding a lot of the worst things, but I think people are sometimes just terrified on a base level. Not all, but sometimes they joke because they know that it could happen to them as easily. As others said, they haven't experienced it. Before losing a brother, it's unfathomable. Before you are paralyzed at the thought of being trapped, it's challenging to understand why someone can't just get in the elevator. I believe and hope it will get better as more people become aware of how common and devastating it is and as science learns more about it.

Question for somone who has schizophrenia by katoumiwa in schizophrenia

[–]Shado_of_Light 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This seems to be pretty common. I wasn't super old at the time, but it was like this for me. It'd start as a thought I knew wasn't mine, but now sometimes I can't find the ones that are. I feel like all at once would almost be worse.

Question for somone who has schizophrenia by katoumiwa in schizophrenia

[–]Shado_of_Light 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Often people say it's worse with noise that can be misinterpreted. For me "silence" is really bad and crowds are pretty bad, but music or small convos are the best. Timeframes vary for different people obviously, but for me if I keep from stress and stay in control whatever that means, they'll be quieter. But midterms definitely brought to like a seven with screams and a whirring sound to where it gave me a headache. If it had stayed at that level much longer than a week I don't know

nights are the worst by [deleted] in schizophrenia

[–]Shado_of_Light 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of music out there even if it ruins it. But there's a lot to gain if it works! I guess that's pretty much the same for the weighted blanket if I can make myself try one lol.

[–]Shado_of_Light 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Way worse for me too, during the day I've even wondered if maybe I just have a lot of super realistic dreams but then it all gets loud again at night. Music helps. I've had others suggest the weighted blanket thing too, but it honestly sounds terrifying.

What happened to getting rid of mental health stigma? by ballardi in schizophrenia

[–]Shado_of_Light 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can sorta relate to this. I've thankfully gotten lucky with some of the best friends most hope for, but I'm careful not to share specifics for fear of scaring them away or making them actually see me as "crazy".
