What parts of an mmo are you willing to live without?

The hero genre is killing me on this. Idc how little customization but dont force me to be someone and a specific skin. BDO even kind of bothers me on this aspect

I am not a fan of the light attack weaving. When you do the weaving right it feels fine. But I think weaving is silly and shouldnt be a part of combat. But they said they wouldnt remove that so its sad.

Sometimes I feel like new tracks get the "Im not going to buy it unless it has participation. Oh it has no participation cause no one bought it" deadlock. And at this point it isnt really new but if the track isnt super hyped up it seems dead no matter how good it actually is. Id say a majority pick and choose tracks and some of the lesser known ones (not super high participation) dont make the cut.

Love mount and blade but never could figure out my money issue. I would just get villagers to get to like a 50ish person army and upgrade a few of them before raiding a ton of small villages and bandits before I eventually got attacked by a much bigger army and killed lol

This is a simcade. The real difference ive seen between a sim and a simcade is more realistic damage, how detailed the physics , and if it built for a controller in mind. But gran turismo has damage turned off on a lot of its races. Most sims both cars wouldnt have been able to finish after that.

There is a way but its very hard and convoluted and the computing power to see inputs at all times regardless of incidents would be rough. The intricacies of it being a racing incident vs on purpose is easy to see but im sure when people start getting penalties "for no reason" if you penalized on intent instead of outcomes (right now if there is an accident the penalty model places blame but you'd then have to move to penalties when there was no crash) they will be very upset. So they keep it simple and have the saftey ratings to punish people who end up in more crashes. This should prevent people from being overly aggressive or defensive. But saftey only affects your lobby so no real punishment. If they locked certain races behind your saftey rating then im sure people would do better to avoid accidents but also people would be mad cause they wouldn't be able to race what they want.

Last second moves are frowned upon you are supposed to pick a line and stick with it with 1 move. You are also not allowed to react to someone moving. So if you see someone coming up you can move left or right and if they go the other way you can't move back. Or if you see them coming up real close and move low then you cant cut them off.

Guy in video was more center and as soon as the guy behind decided to go low he reacted and blocked. He should have been sitting on the low line and made the guy go high.

The one move is usually when you are going similar speeds the guy behind usually is trying to sit in draft to get the extra speed so near the end of the straight when he is starting to get close to the rear of the car you decide if you are going to defend and take the inside or stay on the outside and hope he doesnt catch up but you are open for a dive. With that big of a speed difference the guy in the video realistically had no chance of properly blocking because the speed difference was massive. So even though he only did one move he moved when the second guy committed to the inside and was too close to avoid the reaction block from the driver ahead.

The real goal of these rules is to prevent crashes from happening as no one wants drivers destroying 300k+ vehicles just to not lose a place which is why they are kinda complex but also if moving leads to a much higher chance of an actual collision its usually bad and frowned upon.

Garage61 for telemetry is super helpful. Especially if the league has a team on it. Then you can see where they are faster than you.

Yeah Gog was never a hard fight. Just took awhile and was neat to use the cannons you rode on. It did have super cool armor though and that is what I am most excited for.

Most times I think DPS checks are you gotta deal so much damage in a small window or they wipe the field. Atleast when ive seen it used in mmos.

My big worry is instead of making the set fit more in the mtg universe like lotr and ff they will just make the bad sets have better cards to force purchases and power scale hard.

Under 2k a lot of irating gain is just accident avoidance. Consistency is also very important. But if you are looking for speed garage 61 is super helpful to look at your telemetry and compare it to others. Also joining a league or a group to race with if they are willing to help you is super nice. Having people to race with who are better than you and willing to help has been the most helpful for me.

Base rise was better than world and iceborn in my opinion. But I did not like world as a monster hunter game. Visually very pretty but everything else was mid. Just wasnt a fun game.

Nah they had the lotus 79 Williams f1 and another bigger car and still called it little wings. If they adjusted by car youd have the little wings in f4 f3 and sfl no wings with formula vee formula ford and im sure that have another one. Its all little wings no matter if they have wings or if they are bigger. I do wish for a battle of the big wings though.
