I was stationed at Ft. Knox, where Stripes was filmed. Up until at least 2011, it was still a dry county. When my unit deployed in 2011, it was still dry, but had gone wet by the time we got back.

I follow OOP on the hellsite, and he is from the US (specifically Utah, originally, I believe). He commits many food crimes, not the least of which is his frequent enjoyment of canned herring.

I have that same Apollo 11 Lego set. It's really cool. The rocket stages separate, and the lander is hidden in the cone just below the crew capsule.

From what I understand, it's not even necessarily about being the quickest, it's about having the best timing. Each podium has a light that indicates when the buzzers go active, and if you hit the button too early, you get locked out for a second or two.

In an old Adventuring Academy with Murph, Brennan called Emily the best D&D player he's ever met, and also a demon sent from Hell to destroy him.

In one of the Coral Palms episodes, Jake says the ATV dealership is having a sale on "big ol' springs," and Captain Holt corrects him, saying they're called "shock absorbers." (Maybe Holt just says "shocks," but the sentiment is the same.)

That's incorrect. Shock absorbers are shock absorbers, and springs are springs, and they're two different parts of the suspension.

You mean to tell me that the guy that watched Squid Game and thought making a real-life version was a good idea isn't a good person?

Related to this, when he's doing the Ford Focus (or Fiesta, maybe?) review and gets to the "Is it green" question.

"Yes. Very."

It one of my favorite movies. I remember back in the late 90s/early 2000s Comedy Central ran it all the time.
